So we learned back at Impel Down about Zoan awakening taking over the user and making them go to beast mode(literally).

So about Luffy's awakening... First of all that was his animal form or hybrid form?

Second, I will make a parallel between Luffy and Chopper. Chopper Monster Point seems much like an awakening since he goes beast mode but not in his animal or hybrid form but a new one and it is forced by drugs. And with those drugs Chopper also have another forms beside his animal and hybrid form.
I don't see G2 and G3 as forms but techniques but his G4 is definitely new forms and similar to what Chopper has. Luffy doesn't have a Brain Point but he has a Horn Point(Snakeman because horns are reindeers main weapons and Luffy main weapon is his fist, Snakeman doesn't use his head or legs to attack), Arm Point(Boundman arm can gets huge like at King Kong Gun) and Guard Point(Tankman). Like I said before Monster Point would be G5.

Third, if Zoan Awakening makes the animal of DF takes control than Luffy did not beat Kaido but Nika himself?

Forth, maybe Nika didn't took control of Luffy(like he said to Kaido) and why that? Luffy CoC didn't allowed him to be dominated by his DF?

Fifth, what about nerfs? Every new gear has nerf. G5 doesn't seem to have one. Even when Luffy went out of it he quickly came back again. And at 1062 he just went G5 again for joke purposes.

Also,since its the sun god fruit,we have yet to see it being used under day time.It might have new powers while being used in daylight.Maybe more fire and lighting based moves,but just more powerfull than red hawk,red roc and thor elephant gun,etc...

Not likely.Nika was a warrior that liberated slaves.It wouldn't make any sense for it to be sad.Angry and Happy is the only way to go.

Good post.Since Gear5 has "toon" powers it is capable of more than we can imagine and have seen vs Kaido.Imagine Luffy grabbing fire,water,magma,ice,light,etc... to attack or Luffy turning the ground into rubber to create multiple giant fists in a similar manner to Katakuri.Red hawk and Red Roc gatling is something i wanted to see for a long time,maybe now it will be possible for Luffy to pull it off.

Luffy could also have a "Berserk mode" where Nika takes full control and things just get crazy.Maybe in a moment of anger or something.Similar to yusuke vs sensui,maybe it will happen vs Sakazuki.

Well tbh g5 changed luffy personality as a whole and adding a New laughing style to him.

I mean Something about nika felt different Time to time in g5. it was like sometime nika was in charge and sometime luffy.
Cuz right after unlocking his awakening he knows how to use it. Which was weird tbh.

shishishishishi his new laughing style is implemented After g5. luffy never had a laughing style of his own prior to g5.

I think no mini Luffy but maybe he will just sneeze out or puke the poison out freely. If he go crazy like erasing the damage wow i do like that but i dont think Luffy's fighting style will touch that kind of stuff. Luffy wont be a self-healer but he's gonna give bigger and stronger or faster attack everytime.

Imagine eating plane human human model -- There won't be any change when eaten by a human as the beast mode is human literally so hybrid mode coincides with base human.

So you are pretty much saying that Luffy was on Animal Mode. He may have Hybrid Mode we can't be sure. Sengoku also had Human DF and had his mode(which we are not sure if it is Animal or Hybrid but I would say Hybrid since was pretty similar to Sengoku and not Buddha himself on his face).

And what about Luffy G4? We can say that G2 and G3 are techniques but G4 there is definitely 3 differents modes which reminds Chopper Points. Different from Kaido's emotional states. Kaido has only Human, Hybrid and Animal mode but he has emotional states that alters his strength and haki too.

Gomu gomu being zoan never made sense because it doesnt have forms. But i guess Oda can just cover it up with "special" mythical zoan and it doesnt have to make sense
