I think you two need to stop. Like Ratchet already said, this thread isn't to flame anyone. I don't think Rion would have rigged the poll, and anyway it doesn't matter anymore.

ik i shouldnt get too involved in this bc i think ghostface has said a lot of what im gonna say but i kinda dont like how CW is treating this election.
I want to preface that obviously from a mafia skills standpoint, CW is a better player than Alexis and is clearly the vote if people want to send their best mafia player. Like Alexis shows glimpses of high talent but I think they still need more practice.
However, I don't support CW openly insulting Alexis and the people voting for Alexis, accusing Ghostface of rigging the election, accusing people of hating them because they voted for Alexis, and accusing people of ruining their birthday for not voting them. I can't verify if the election was rigged or not, but to not even consider that people might just like memes more than raw talent or that people live in different time zones or that maybe, just like how CW sent PMs to me asking for votes, alexis also did some campaigning or that people campaigned for Alexis is just sad. Or to rephrase this differently, to walk in days before champs starts and immediately insult their competition and get mad when things didn't go their way reads as super-entitled and just as ghostface said, what's gonna happen if something CW thinks is unfair or unfavorable happens? Will they accept it gracefully or will they have another fit like they did here and in other games?
Like this is supposed to be a game and I understand that upsetting things happen but CW goes full nuclear breakdown ATE on anything they think is unfair. This attitude is fine(-ish?) for things that actually matter but in things like mafia where it's a game and the priority is fun and healthy competition I just struggle to see a world where having a meltdown at anything they deem unfair promotes the fun and healthy environment mafia should be played in.
CW's attitude rn is what is turning an obvious win into a close race. And I'd only recommend sending them if they promise to not make a big scene if they happen to not get voted into the next round or they get accused of being mafia or something.
Idk i just felt like this needed to be addressed since idk if WG is anything like OLF and wants to grow their mafia scene, but if the representative does a poor job representing their community then new ppl won't want to join. For small communities this is also a PR stunt in addition to being a friendly and unifying competition.
I also don't support Alexis going yet just because they have a nasty habit of deathtunneling without reconsidering and also maybe using AI (which is considered cheating on MU), and getting banned or called a brick wall is also not a good look.
At the end of the day I'm just an outsider looking in. And it's not to say there isn't room for improvement or that people can't change.
Or perhaps I just made the flames worse idk

Let me all ask you how you'd react if suddenly someone shows up and is spreading lies, warning everyone to not vote you several times, someone who you don't even know and who you can't remember even having played a mafia game with them before?
And at the same time the voting is getting turned around in suspicious patterns always around the same time stamps and always with Alexis getting 6 votes during a few hours while I receive none during that time span (11-15 to suddenly 17-15 and then 18-20 to suddenly 24-20)? Would you just let this slide when it means you would lose because of this?

I woukd jokingly call the election rigged and call it a day. I’m in a similar situation where this is my last attempt at champs on my homesite. If someone else was voted I’d be sad but I’d let it go even if I thought it was rigged

But would this method not be more like really "hijacking yourself" into the championship as this Ghostface dude called it?
Representing a community would imo mean that you have a real connection to that community. And just because I might have gotten tired or not liking the development of overbastardized game mechanics taking overhand on Worstgen doesn't mean that there have been no connection, there are players that I respect, there were games I had fun playing in. There are whole ghost communities with their members are more thinking about their memories from the past than the actual current status for example.

So why are you putting in all this effort on the smear campaign and guilt-tripping people into voting you? Is this really what a single mafia game (ok potentially 3 games) with the chance of getting a badge on a website you don’t even play on worth it?
I understand that you don’t want to look like a pushover and kneel to injustice but I also think there’s a possibility the election wasn’t rigged and that you’re accusing people with no actual proof / treating them like they’re guilty with no actual proof and that’s not what heroes fighting against injustice do

I was asking the admins to check the previous poll for suspicious votes, as I don't have the technical resources to find certain proof by myself.
About Mafia Universe you assume I won't be playing there afterwards? I don't know this place yet but my first impression of it isn't bad, maybe I will really consider either MU or one of the other competing communities to give them a chance.

I wanna say I feel like I know who this is and I'm pretty sure I do based on the behavior but its not my fight and I'm not a mod here.
