IMO the 2004 “The Batman” TV show nailed Batman. He wasn’t overly edgy, used interesting gadgets, but still had that Batman Vibe.

Different versions but there are still the core concepts that make a character who they are which Snyder just didn’t have.

If Superman isn’t a beacon of what humanity could be and a better tomorrow then he’s not Superman.
