Speculations Mihawk Did Not Make The Black Cross Blade He Inherited It!!

My safe guess it's related to fate/destiny.

Being strong enough doesn't necessarily grant you black blade (eg Roger).

One's skill is vague and can't be gauged properly.

So the only variable left is fate/destiny. You must be chosen by the heaven.

Let's say there's 100 strong enough swordsman, only 10 of them have excellent swordsmanship, but only 1 is fated to be WSS.

This is a reasonable way to filter someone.

He's the one that came with the theory and thus the burden of proof falls on him. You claim something first; you gotta prove your shit. Something that he didn't really do and thus, this can't even be labeled as a theory since it has 0 substantial proof. "Nicely done. Hahaha"
He didn't claimed anything, he stated it as an option. An option that can be right or wrong
So hahaha, your point is moot dude.

When Oda fails to deliver the explanation on how a sword becomes truly black and stays black.
Coating a sword with haki makes a black blade but how does the it become permanent is the question? Therefore saying anything about it is headcanon.

Shusui was not one of the twelve before becoming a Black Blade. Shusui was originally an ordinary blade that, when turned black by Ryuma, elevated it directly to the Meito class. The question is, what would happen if Ryuma took Whitebeard's bisento, which is already a Supreme Grade blade and among the top 12, and turned it into a Black Blade? Its classification would rise, potentially even surpassing Yoru.

Yoru's case is as follows:

  • It was one of the twelve Supreme Grade blades before becoming a Black Blade, and upon turning black, it became the strongest blade in the world.
  • It was a Meito that, upon becoming a Black Blade, became one of the twelve Supreme Grade blades (similar to Kozaburou's suggestion with Enma) and became the strongest.
If Shusui were a Meito before becoming a Black Blade, like Enma (upon becoming a Black Blade), it would be classified among the top 12. However, since Shusui is not one of the top 12, it is likely that it was not a Meito before becoming a Black Blade and only achieved that status after turning into a Black Blade.
This whole thread is headcanon.

-> Ryuuma is stated to have fought and fought numerous battles until the sword became a black blade.

-> Mihawk in the vivre card is stated up engaged in various battles until becoming a warlord.

The two characters have the set up fighting and fighting and fighting. Based on Ryuuma, the black blades depend on how much you've fought with that specific blade using the a certain degree of Haki.

This by virtue I reckon no other swordsman has fought as much as these two.

Technically? It is possible, since Ryuuma does have the bigger hype between the two. So it can remain a Ryuuma exclusive feat and then adding on some ancient being that did the same to Yoru.

Likely? Not really, hard to see Oda making Your into a hand me down.

Yoru was actually Shanks sword and he turned it black, but he gave it to Mihawk just like he gave his straw hat to Luffy, he was hoping that Mihawk would surpass him like Luffy will, but it never happened.

This is why Oda is failing to deliver, we only know like 3 supreme blades and Gyphon is speculated being the 4th.
Yoru
W.B's poleblade
Roger swords Ace
Gyphon

It's ridiculous that there are no supreme swords in Wano or wielder of supreme swordsman in Wano. Not even Ryuma or Oden had one, so where could the other 8 bladesman or woman be and why aren't they in the story yet or known...
