If he had it, Zoro wouldn't be wondering about it like this and would be able to remember Mihawk using it. Adcoa wouldn't seem to catch his attention.

It seems like it's the first time Zoro has seen this form of haki.

Someone who knows something doesn't wonder, could tell which haki you wanna learn or using :
Luffy wasn't shocked when Hyou used barrier, he didn't wonder like it's something new, he knew and has seen Ray and Sentomaru use it.
Hyou could tell Luffy wanted to learn barrier so he showed it and he also knew level 3 exists even though he didn't have it.

Zoro's comment wasn't "oh just like Mihawk, so he learnt it there" " oh you can use this too (like Mihawk or me)"
Hyou was somewhat like ' are you trying to learn this boy..?"
Kaido when retainers use ryuo " ... Oden ryuo?"
People who have witnessed/heard or have a skill that's rare or special, recall the person who has it (either themselves or others)

FS and Adcoa (Penetration) are rare, only a few have them or both at the same time.

Mihawk only has barrier/flow/repel. He's not the best CoA specialist.

(A twitter post from Geo made me think so)

Mihawk probably has it. There's this post i remember reading in which the users refer to Gold movie where Zoro only cuts the meteor but Mihawk devastate it into little pieces. There's good chance this advance Haki is behind that, tho that seems too op to use it in such big range. But then again Sabo did it in DR collaseum so we don't know what capabilities a Top Tier with Top Haki may have.

Anyway, Rayleigh has it. So even if this ability don't seem helpful to swordman at first, it likely will end up being.

Depending on Zoro if he unlocks it or not, we will know Mihawk has it or not.

Also Zoro didn't say he doesn't know that Haki, he just wondered if that was the one Hyogoro taught him which we know is false,
Hyogoro indeed can't use Penetration Haki so Zoro was right to wonder

IMO Characters who (Might) have it are:

Roger, WB, Oden & Shanks ---> Basically confirmed by Kaido
Rayleigh ---> Confirmed by Luffy
Mihawk ---> Greatest Swordsman & Black Blade User needs this
Garp ---> Relies on CoA a lot due to being Brawler so needs it
Dragon & Sabo ---> Ryusoken seems to be based on it
Hancock ---> Kuja are famous for being strong Haki Users, as their Best, she could know this
Sengoku ---> Perhaps his Devil Fruit enhances his Haki Attacks
Lucci ---> Perfected Rokushiki so maybe he can use it
Zoro ---> He will use it, sooner or later whether he knew it or not

He probably has it man.
He doesn't

His chances of having is slim since Zoro doesn't seem to know about it apart from seeing luffy
Post automatically merged:

Luffy didn't know the difference between 2 and 3. Does that mean Rayleigh didn't have it?
Luffy didn't about the two but knew Rayleigh used this n that

Are you saying Zoro doesnt have level 2 too?

Back then Rayleigh showed Luffy barrier coa and Hyou too Rayleigh Hyo explained the layers of Coa so Luffy didn't know that there are two instead of one level
Admirals showed second level of haki but prob have also internal destruction too in there arsenal

Based on arguments here that "luffy didnt know about both stages even tho ray had it"

You guys are implying Zoro doesn't even have barrier /repel haki even

Ryuo is haki (in wano term) in general... anyone has it.
Barrier/repel is stage 2
Penetration is stage 3.

Wano refers to al 3 stages as Ryuo anyway.

I see... Nice logic
