Speculations Mihawk will take an L from the marines

#41
Ssg was made to replace the shichibukai

The best way to show that off is to prove it by having it face the shichibukai themselves and mihawk is a shichibukai
He doesn't have to get defeated but the marines having him running away would be the best way to prove ssgs and just their overall strength

Its not like mihawk is too strong for the marines anyway because if they sent 1 admiral alone mihawk might not be safe. 1 admiral with some backup forces and its a rap if they really wanted

Ssg being stronger than the warlords on average doesnt mean they are as strong as mihawk.

It doesn't have to be a zero-sum game.

Honestly, I believe only Boa and Buggy will be defeated by the Marines + SSG Weapons.

The only way I see Weevil escaping that sort of challenge is by outright running away or being saved by a greater power (for some reason, I'm thinking BB, but I'm not sure).

I think Oda will let both Mihawk and Marines + SSG 'save face' by having Mihawk outright smite the ships sent for him out of existence before they can reveal/access the SSG weapons and leave his island afterward. This way, Mihawk isn't defeated, but the hype of SSG weapons also stays because, technically, the weapons never got the chance to fight Mihawk.

While many people fully expect the shichibukai to stomp in their upcoming clash with the marines, I'm not so sure of this. Kaido himself stated that the marines hadn't lost their minds when they replaced the shichibukai, meaning that the SSG has to be strong. Hence, it doesn't make sense for Oda to hypetool the SSG when they don't have any feats yet.

The marines are one of the biggest enemies in the series, hence Oda actually needs to hype up the SSG, moreso than he needs to hype Mihawk, who has already received more than enough hype throughout the series.

Another thing is that Mihawk is a very important character and post-wano, we will be very close to the EoS. Hence, Oda needs to get MIhawk back into the main plot. In order to do this, Mihawk can't just be sitting on his island like he has for a majority of the series. The only way for him to leave would be if he was driven out by the marines.

I suspect that the marines have sent an admiral and/or members of the SSG, to Mihawk's island. In this fight, Mihawk will be overwhelmed, become injured, and ultimately run away from the marines. Through this loss, Mihawk will either find himself allying with shanks or somehow interacting with blackbeard.

Also, an important thing to note here is that the SSG doesn't actually need anyone on par with Mihawk in order to defeat him. Multiple high tiers, if they are strong enough(say marco level), could be enough to pressure mihawk.
I would expect oda to touch on mihawk at least at his end of the year statement if that was the case
seems more like hancock would have those issues
not mihawk
I enjoy the marine wank tho

Even if SSG is overall stronger than Warlords, it doesnt mean SSG stronger than Mihawk.
Because if Mihawk got captured, other Warlords will get captured too.
How does this make sense

SSG > 7 Warlords including Mihawk
Mihawk can't be above the whole SSG or the 6 Warlords combined.

If Vista who's below Croco, is enough to stop Mihawk, SSG or 3 Warlords are enough to wreck Mihawk.

Weevil will be damaged but still escapes.

Buggy will use his army to escape, he will lose lots of men

Hancock will be capture dby Coby + SSG

Mihawk will be cornered and saved by RHP or he runs away.

It will be an absolute disgrace to the story

In fact, Oda with a move like that, he would have made Zoro's dream is absolutely WOTHLESS GARBAGE dream if Mihawk's first test in this series is him getting an L

Lmao
What a horrible writing, and what a waste of 1000 chapters it has been for us to care about Zoro's dream and journey for the guy at the top loses in his first test haha

Total joke

Wow. I guess we can give up on Luffy's dream now, and the dreams of other strowhats. Mihawk should be untouchable before Zoro defeats him otherwise 1000 chapters will make no sense, who cares about the plot or other characters, it's all about Zoro this days.
