Oda created this character decades ago,if he created backstories for characters like Baby 5 or Senor Pink,we can safely assume he has one in story for Mihawk too. Then if he uses it or not,is yet to see. But he will probably use it in the story!

Maybe its just me but zoro opponents are usually strong people where he suffers physically( they usually not intersting characters,just strong

Not expecting much from him with the way Oda been treating swordsmen characters (or the whole swordsmanship) in this series honestly.

The only thing colloquially expected out of Mihawk right now is at the very least to be strong enough to fulfill his hype, and ofc to have AdvCoC too. This is the bare minimum, if he can't fulfill any of these, he has failed as a character who holds a powerful title.

What feats did those opponents get over sanjis opponents?

His personality is pretty unique. He truly fits his own name, in fact his personality is definitely intrinsically connected to that.

I hope Mihawk have a good backstory and not some one dimensional strong fighter for Zoro. But I doubt OP fans cares about character narrative at this point, they only care about how strong this character is just to powerscale.

This whole thing about him being stalled by Vista is just everyone forgetting what we know about Mihawk since Barratie. But whatever Yes Mihawk is a fraud weakling that was stopped completely by Vista and Jozu and escaped from Shanks. :cheers:

Kaido was stalled by Yamato. Some One Piece fans say that not an issue because it's Kaido the so called strongest.

Big Mom was stalled by Marco, had an even clash with him, relied on him against him, and ran away from him. Some One Piece fans say that not an issue because it's Big Mom and she could have broke Marco's neck which would have somehow countered his healing power and defeated him instantly.

Mihawk was stalled by Vista. Some One Piece fans (haters) claims a problem because he was stalled by a YC. In their minds a top teir can never be stopped or stalled by a YC. The fact that happened to Mihawk means he can't be top tier. It doesn't matter to them if Mihawk wasn't going all out, serious, or even looking at his opponent for most of the battle. Kaido and Big Mom being stalled by YC is irrelevant to them because they're not Mihawk.

I mean did you see when Jinbe literally made her fly and Franky ran her over. almost all is feasible if Oda wants.
