Alex P should have won
Close fight and Ank did way better on the feet than expected but Alex had 1,3,5.

Yeah the infamous Sal D Amato with his 4-1 score cards again
Alex had 1 & 5 clear
Big Ank 2 & 4 clear
The only one in the air was round 3 which i gave to Alex but can understand it going the other way too

Bro, Pereira got dogwalked, 5 rounds on the backfoot
He literally froze and gave in to the constant pressure, most of his significant strikes were pesky calf kicks that didn’t wobble Ank even once. He probably thought Ank would open up his defense with all these calf kicks, but it was the opposite, Ank delivered a shit ton of body kicks and nearly KO’d him in round 2, stayed on his ass the entire 5 rounds
This is a clear victory

Pesky calf kicks in the first for Pereira and nothing for Ank so that goes to Alex
Ank did pretty good in the second and rocked him that goes him
Round 3 is pretty even so either way but leaning Alex
Round 4 clinch against the fence with 0 damage for Ank so he gets that round too
Round 5 Alex lands a few nice shots and Ank holds him up against the fence with no damage so Alex wins again
The fight couldn't be closer yet you're talking like this was Khabib vs Connor type of fight
Yeah Alex was on the back foot for some moments but Ank other than some moments in round 2 didn't do much either
The entire last 2 rounds he was only trying to hold Alex against the fence

Very technical fight by Ankalaev, Pereira was stiffened and on the backfoot for the entirety of the match
This is a performance worthy of top 5 p4p. The fact that Ankalaev isn’t even top 15 p4p and you have guys like Strickland Leon Sean making the ranking lol
This fight is the best example of the value of grappling skills in a predominantly striking match, Ankalaev is not a better striker than Pereira, but he feared Ankalaev and his wrestling thus resorting to backing off and counter punching, unsuccessfully though since Ankalaev is an elite striker himself

Ofcourse salty little loser Poatards are melting down all over the internet😂

UFC crowd is inbred retards, Ankalaev gave Pereira 3 rounds of standup striking and Pereira did shit all with it, you can't ask for more from Ankalaev.

Jon Jones will still find a way for the Pereira fight to happen over Aspinall. He is in peak duck mode rn, this dude has barely fought the past 10 years. Loses to Reyes, beats Cereal Gone, fights a nursing home patient and calls it a day.
