That is a fight where I hope Oliveira doesn't get clipped early on. I want to see the grappling scrambles between them

Obviously the goal is Topuria vs Islam, but I wouldn’t throw him into the wolf’s den just yet
Dana knows Topuria is the only legitimate candidate to ending Islam’s reign, Oliveria is a perfect buffer fight.
Now the chad move would be beating Oliveira on the ground to send a message, or at least delay the KO, dangerous game but if you’re gonna beat Islam that’s precisely what you gotta do

Tate is like 40 right?

Jake will call him for a match in like 15 years don’t worry
Tate is around 35 i think
Going off by Mike Tyson's fight who knows, Tate been doing this for 2 decades, if he does a legitimate camp he could win this
Jake took it easy on Tyson but if he beat Anderson Silva i don't see how Tate wins
Silva obviously was much older but there is an ocean of difference between him and a decent retired kickboxer who's been drinking and partying the last decade

Silva has more brain damage than Tate though
Whatever you think Jake Paul can do in his couple years of training can be easily regained by someone like Tate with a serious camp and decades of experience. Partying or not he still trains everyday and spars regularly, plus mentally he's on a different level to the average man

Jake has invested the last 6-7 years fully into his boxing and he's juiced up too let's be honest
I don't think Tate's cardio will hold up
One camp isn't enough for an 8 round fight even if you do spar sometimes between drinking and smoking.
Tate's skill isn't that much better than Jake either imo
His experience is in Kickboxing not boxing so it would be another case of Jake beating someone in a sport they didn't come up in.
Jake has a better chin, hits harder and probably has the cardio advantage.
I understand the Tate pick but Jake wins imo.

Anderson Silva beat Julio Caesar Chavez Jr (a legitimate former world champion in his 30s) the year before he fought Jake Paul

That Silva win is much more impressive than people think and it’s by far Jake’s best win.

A side note - I also think the athletic decline in your mid 30s is a lot more extreme than people tend to think (I have a friend who works as an EMT and drives an ambulance - the rate of physical emergencies skyrockets past 35) because by and large society has gaslit us to think 50s are our middle ages to make us work longer when in reality it’s our 30s/40s.

I would pick Paul

Greatest robbery?
Reyes stramrolled him the first 3 rounds and was much more comfortable in every phase. Its what happens when Jon jones fights unpredictable strikers who understand ring craft. DC was like this too. No wonder danas special boi doesn’t want nothing of Tom 😂
