General & Others Momo crashing through buildings in dragon form had more panel time than Jack and Perospero combined.

Who the absolute fuck thinks this 3 year shitshow arc has been rushed? Lmfao
Overall the arc is not a rush in fact its a stretch instead lol, it's just Oda more care about drawing a lot of un-important stuff for 3 years rather than the expected fights.

I think specifically some people are tired of waiting for the major (SHs , in this case Jack) fights and they get over-excited when the moment finally comes later get mad salty when it be done quickly way. Then "Rushed" start to pop up Lmao.

I think we need to keep our expectation low for a fight beside Luffy's in One Piece.

Because momonosuke got his character development. One piece is not fucking dragon ball. The main event was always and will always be the story itself. The fights are JUST THERE for the story itself. And oda nearly always just shows the fights of the strawhats and off panels the rest.

I don't see where the problem is.

Well of course because Oda deemed him as more important to the story hehe. He even offpaneled the two guys which was extremely bad as a choice imo also given how much time he wasted on other futile stuff during the arc instead.

How many times was Jack defeated in onigashima? 3 times? Oda better focus on Momo more and let mah boy Lack alone, no more Ls for best boy calamity! Jack better sit the fk down and enjoy the show.

One week>why Oda spend endless time with those side characters😡😡
Next week>why Oda dont give more panel time to the side characters😡😡
This happens because the first problem is directly connected to the second problem.

The first problem happens because Oda wastes time on characters that are either completely pointless (e.g. Urashima and Fukurokuju) or unnecessary (e.g. 1/2 of the Scabbards). All these extra unnecessary characters bloat the arc up and make it more difficult for Oda to effectively distribute panel time.

This leads to the second problem which is characters that readers have been looking forward to for years not getting enough panel time. Characters that people were hyped for like Jack, King and X Drake have had little presence. Jack in particular was hyped up back in Zou Arc to be a big deal with his inevitable rematch with the Dukes being something that folk were looking forward to and all that happened with this setup is that it got mostly off screened thus resulting in a disappointing payoff.

So yes, Oda is simultaneously giving side characters both too much and too little panel time because he allocates too much time to characters that no one cares about and too little panel time to those that readers were excited for.
