Akainu is still scarier than Kaido because he kills straight away, not some bullshit like breaking wills and throwing a rubber user out of the roof expecting him to die lol, he's also scarier than BM because he's way smarter.

The question should be, who is scarier Wano Samurai or Akainu?
Kaido is above of these things, he owns Wano Samurai, the Samurai are afraid of Kaido. Kaido > Samurai or Akainu.

People wouldn't be scared of a world government lapdog, when there is a guy who plans to conquer the entire world, plans to conquer places like Wano (which Akainu is afraid of, Kaido already conquered it), other new world territories, other non-government related territories, and government related territories.
Haoshoku Haki is also related to intimidation, and Kaido mastered CoC Haki, Akainu? We don't even know if he has it or not.

For luffy, if you don't fear an emperor, there's nothing else in this world that you should be afraid of, and that's according to luffy's life experience, and the numerous confrontations he's already had.

I don't hate AKAINU, if there's really anyone in the navy who can compete with the emperors it's him, he has a good chance of doing that, but first he needs to prove he can.
