Character Discussion More Symbolism Hinting Kuzan Is A Traitor

From the new Vivre Card, Kuzan is from the Vespa Kingdom.

Vespa means wasp.

Wasps infiltrate, attack, and kill beehives.

The BBP’s main island is called Beehive.

So Kuzan is literally a wasp in a beehive.

This is additional symbolism with the BBP commanders beings called “Titanic” Captains when the titanic was sunk by an ice berg.

What does he have to win that he couldn't have gotten from killing Blackbeard when they first met?

Unless he and Akainu simply knew he couldn't.

Probably wants to get to the One Piece/Laughtale and sees the BBP as the best way.

There was a Japanese reader I spoke to awhile back when I was banned apparently it’s a common theory that Kuzan is after the OP

He was literally shown in the OP contender panel, it's not exactly a theory, is it? Lol

This along with the iceberg/Titanic motif should be enough for even the most stubborn and hardheaded "Kuzan is completely to BB" clowns to shut up lol

I just hope that Aokiji shows some emotions when he eventually betrays the BBP because he's been with them for what, 2 years now and he's been bonding with them pretty well. Automatically the top 1 character for me if Oda manages to pull this off.
I doubt he’ll ever get the chance to betray them before he and the BBP get defeated. Sure he may have joined them for the right reasons, but this way of doing things lacks pride and honor which I think is going to be a big theme in his fight in the BBP arc.

It was so obvious, people were speculating that he was actually loyal to subvert expectations.

I don't think he's completely loyal, but neither are all the other BBPs. The infiltration wasn't likely planned- he was literally getting drunk at a bar when he encountered them by chance and was convinced by Teach to join.

Kuzan being a traitor may sound obvious for some, but at this point, it's possible Kuzan isn't looking to take down BB, and hence not necessarily a traitor. He just has his own reasons to join BB. I don't think he'll fight against BB.

Teach offered him the position knowing Kuzan had his own agenda. That was his selling point.
One of few traits of Teach that I like.

Why would he?

I'm pretty sure Kuzan sees all of them as the scum they are
