We all saw how Ivankov, Dragon and Sabo were in theory mode this chapter and tried to make sense of that enormous shadow over Lulusia and the nuking that followed.
We also saw Imu calling the Gorosei telling them to "try out Vegapunk's invention - mother flame".
A lot of fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that the spaceship (or whatever it is) was called "mother flame" and Vegapunk built it.
However, this was a red herring imho and even Dragon realized it ("Vegapunk wouldn't build such a weapon! Is it an ancient weapon? But why didn't they use it up until now?").
Imho Dragon was damn close, but not completely right.
Vegapunk does indeed play a major role here.
The weapon that destroyed Lulusia was indeed Uranus - an ancient weapon.
However, the reason why they haven't used it up until now was bc they simply couldn't.
It only runs on that ancient fuel/energy source that Vegapunk mentioned earlier on Egghead.
The brilliant genius that he is, Vegapunk managed to at least partly re-create that power source on his search for the "perfect energy supply for everyone" (he himself stated that as his main goal) and called it "mother flame". An hommage to Greek mythology etc.
That's what Imu is actually talking about - they are finally able to test Uranus bc of that ancient power source Vegapunk re-created.
