It seems than Oda wants to relation the three main mugis commanders with the three main of Rox. And it is than zoro, jinbei and sanjino have many caracteritics of wb, kaido and BM.

Starting with zoro and WB, the two are vc from their crew. They are strong human who use legenadary swords and both are known for their strengh, wb to be the last wsm and zoro to be the new wsm (he was the only who stopped the hakai only with his strengh).

Then come Jinbei and kaido. Both are no-human who are relations with the fishes. Both also were the last incorporations and surpassed at third in their crews (Sanjino and BM).

And the last are Sanjino and BM, who are relation with food, both also have stong body and their strongest attack are fire attacks. And moreover they always envied Zoro and Wb, and were surpassed by Jinbei and Kaido (who are their rivals).

luffy is better in that coc doesn't mean than zoro isn't coc specialist. It's like to say than roger is better in that haki than wb. That doesn't mean than wb isn't coc specialist

It's confirmed via SBS that Zoro is a CoA specialist, not a CoC specialist, by Oda, stop the copium.
CoC is the one haki that can't be trained in the same way so is more relevant to be an innate specialist, like Luffy.

apologies, I was referring to when the SBS was written so should have posted "was".
Zoro and Sanji were determined at the time to be CoA and CoO specialists.
