zoro getting carried by shimotsuki genes, enma,Oden's haki and special swords. There is literary nothing else he can gain without these asspulls he was gifted. yet with all those asspulls he still rivals Sanji

Kuina isnt a cheat like zoro though. zoro literary begged his own end goal to literary train him to become strong. plus he always looks for special swords to keep his ass saved since he cant do that with normal swords. Kuina on the other hand wont even try such cowardly way to become the most skilled swordsman in the world 
even though zorotards speak like zoro got strong on his own his records are like below ,
- begged mihawk to make him strong
- begged for special swords whole throughout the series so he can cheat his way to reach his so called dream
- literary not anyone named zoro cares about WSS title. which again speaks of how useless that title is
- getting carried by Oden's haki throughout wano and act like he did anything on his own
- need magical healing to get his strength back and fight while sanji did that effortlessly and luffy did that with mere food
- getting carried by shimotsuki genes from the very beginning while other swordsmen like vista and mihawk doesnt even have any samurai related blood to help them to get strong
- failing to put kaido down with his so called best attack while yamato with a basic bonk did that effortlessly and luffy with a mere punch several times
- making fake promises he cant keep like saying he wont get defeated or telling he will take kaido's head while getting stomped hard
- known as a wing along with sanji while sanji doesnt even use his arms to fight back which is already a nerf
- zoro fans lying saying that he is the combatant of the crew while all of the straw hats are fighters and fight for themselves. literary he is a free loader who doesnt have any specific role among the crew.

Kuina was basically a member of the Shimotsuki clan and Zoro is like a offshoot of it. It’s kinda cool ibsr. The right backstory for his character
It just adds more to his promise to her and the King fight flashback
I like it and we will be getting more of it soon I recon

It’s cool to learn Zoro’s lineage but it doesn’t impact his character. From the very beginning, Zoro wanted to be the WSS and was working to achieve his goal. This is the same character who said he wasn’t afraid to die for his dream. He was never impacted by his family only his own ambitions. As long as I get more Zoro moment in the manga I will be happy.
