Lazy is the way
The west isnt that far off etheir.
Injuries will destroy any team.
You have OKC who is decisively stronger than other other teams

and the Spurs which is overall a better than any 6/7/8 seed

that is why Ouest have less close callanf than the east

East doesn’t have those kind of teams

now for Denver / Minnie yes it was competitive

And Houston are bums while Lakers showed great heart

No East teams are really sure of itself and of its basketball. Either because of experience, or injuries, level, current form etc etc.

Why is East so tense
Because it’s quite weak
no teams are really super solid
quite the opposite if you have actually been watching

West is the conference that's weaker this year. Thunder and Spurs beat their matchups pretty easily without any close games. Timberwolves manhandled the Nuggets w/ ANT and DiVincenzo out 3 of the 6 games. Lakers should have swept the Rockets with KD appearing in just 1 game but extended it to 6 despite the Rockets' anemic offense. Warriors almost took the 8th Seed despite being 8 games BELOW .500 thanksto the Play-In Tournament. Thunder and Spurs are the only contenders in the West this year and should meet in the WCF.

The top 10 seeds in the East all had Over .500 records and were playing all their starters on the final day of the regular season just to stay out of the play-in. The 5th Seed to 10th Seed in the East were separated by just 3 games. Pistons matches up badly with the Magic and needed a 19-pt 2nd Half in G6 from the Magic to even force a Game 7. Celtics were overwhelming the 76ers until Embiid came back (who they don't really guard well despite being up 3-0 in all-time series against) and now they got forced into a Game 7 despite being up 3-1; They rely too heavily on 3-pointers to win games. Knicks almost went down 3-1 to the Hawks after CJ McCollum played out of his damn mind for 3 games but was finally able turn it around after running the offense with KAT instead of Brunson iso-ball. Donovan Mitchell and James Harden both have been questioned for their clutch playoff performance (or lack thereof) for the last 5 seasons and it has continued to hold true this year for the Cavs against the young Raptors who have kept most games close despite having very little offense outside of Barnes/Barrett/Ingram. Knicks and Celtics/76ers is basically the ECF of the series, and it should be one of those 3 that advance out of the East; Despite Detroit's pathetic performance this 1st Round, they are still a horrible matchup for the Knicks should they make it out of the East Semis against the Raptors/Cavs assuming they take care of the Magic at home.

The only one who can beat me is me
this is ironically Embiid's best chance to make the ECF or even the NBA Finals. If Brunson/KAT doesn't mess around though, Knicks should take care of business at home...
He's not doing squat diddly but yea it is the easiest path to the finals ever tbh. Detroit is a fraud first seed, Cavs are struggling with Raptors without 2 of their 3 best players. They really only have to get past Knicks, but I would never bet on Embiid he's gonna fold as always, and he's made of wet paper towels.
