People disrespected the Raptors too much. It was a good team, and Kawhi was a good player, and they made a great combination.

And that was only their 1st year together. Imagine if they developed more chemistry.

It was very clear the Raps needed someone to be THE guy for them and Kawhi needed a team that had a Robin that can do the dirty work, a better coach, and a team that plays unselfishly.


Just validates my thinking that Doc Rivers has been overrated for the last 5 years.


Btw, for what its worth, I said in the old forum that the Lakers will win the title if they traded for AD. Not the perfect roster, which made me doubt them, but I have to admit they've been the best team from start to finish. I could still be wrong if DEN also beats them, lol.
