Yeah man. His performance was the 2nd highest game score in NBA finals history behind LeBron's game 6 in 2016 and the 1st player to out-point, out-rebound, and out-assist LeBron in a Finals game. Clearly, it was the best game I've ever seen him play with the injury circumstances included. Respect

Miami had a chance to make a 10 point lead in the 2nd quarter but they allowed the Lakers to stay in the entire game

Yeah. They stepped it up though, especially defense. Jimmy didn't look like he wanted to shoot much at times. LeBron had a couple of big 3s almost from the logo and AD closed it with the shot and block on Jimmy. AD should've been the DPOY this year.

nah Danny Green missed (again) but Morris got the rebound. unfortunately he tried to lob it to Davis (who wasn't ready for the catch) and it went out of bounds, and Herro hit 2 FTs to win the game

Damn. Now I see why they were dragging his name on Twitter. They didn't describe the play they just called him trash, lol. It looked like AD was a non-factor in the end 'cause it seemed like he re-aggravated his injury again. Great back and forth by Jimmy and LeBron though.

LeBron's best 2 games in the finals and they lost (with the mamba jerseys today). What a waste. Kuzma still sucks. KCP is the 3rd guy.

yeah this would be the same Lakers team as last season if they didnt get Davis lol. I don't want to say it this early but Davis does have a player option and if they (somehow) don't win it this season, that may be something interesting to keep an eye on

I don't know, man. I find it hard to believe even though there's been lots of reports about other NBA executives believing they could get him for some reason. I just can't fathom where he would go and leaving his situation with LeBron & LA. He's also a Klutch guy after all.

They can all sign them again for the cheap. I don't see any of them getting mid-level contracts since most of them are old. If possible though, they should trade some of them + Green & Kuzma for a borderline star or just wait for next year when they'll have enough cap room to get another one. Maybe Kawhi or PG again if the Clippers fail, lol.


Saw this yesterday. Honestly, they were saying the same thing when he was still playing so I'm not really surprised lol. He used to be the strongest player in the league before Steven Adams and I remember him playing well with K. Love. The league just immediately passed him by 2015.

Sure but they still held it together even when LA took the lead. Jimmy was clutch again for them.

Barring an utter miracle... I'm gonna pull a Paul Pierce on this one and say its already over. 2nd largest lead in NBA finals history (I'm gonna assume BOS vs LA game 6 in 2008 was the largest ever because they led by like 50 in that one lol).

Feel bad for Jimmy resting for 2-3 minutes in both games and MIA being down by 28 but on the other hand that's been LeBron's experience during the GS years. Just means that his team won't win if he's off the floor 'cause the Heat are getting shut out and probably mentally worn out more than the Lakers. Iggy and Haslem (who's not playing) are the only ones with Finals experience on the team.
