The man was fun and even the player was fun

but I don’t consider him a legend

I don’t value the triple double really high especially when it’s forced like that

a good player with a great personality and energy

but I didn’t want him anywhere near any of my teams
he is a legend at the end of the day for what he accomplished in his career as a PG. Westbrook not winning a ring should not be a slight against him tbh

I don’t care that he didn’t win a ring

but his game play and his « accomplishments » don’t mean much to me

What will be remembered about RW ? The numerous TD and the seasons in TD.

And I think it’s shit. I think TDs for RW didn’t mean he could do everything on the field, it meant it was a goal for him each game to make a new TD, and he forced these. The whole team played for him to score TD every night. It was tiresome

I put lot more stock in Jokic scoring TD and winning than RW scoring TDs for nothing

Predictions for The East 2027 Standings

  1. Pistons
  2. 76ers
  3. Heat
  4. Knicks
  5. Celtics
  6. Raptors
  7. Pacers
  8. Wizards
If the 76ers manage to end 2nd seed it would be a fucking great season

same for the Heat with the 3rd seed.

Honestly I don’t believe both team will perform that well and be 2 and 3. But let’s see

Here’s the thing LeBron on those Flawed Lakers teams , was winning 50+ games in the West. Now imagine you put Bron in a roster with actual Talent, with actual athletes and not guys who are defensive liabilities like Luka and Austin Reaves.
Miami Heat has elite basketball culture/staff, infact they along with the Celtics and Golden State Warriors have the Best Basketball Cultures, they know how to maximize rosters, they can turn Copper into Gold, they can turn a G League Player into a 6th Man of The Year candidate. Giving a Team like Miami actual Superstar Talent is very scary for the league honestly. Especially considering what they’ve been able to do with such little talent on their Roster. The 2020 Bubble, The 2022- 2023 Run etc.

keep sleeping on the Knicks as usual....-_-

Pistons are also literally about to lose Duren (or have a disengaged Duren if he takes the QO), and also lost Tobias Harris/Isaiah Stewart. Unless Ausar has a workable jumpshot that he devloped in the offseason, Pistons will be worse than last season with no significant signings. They barely beat the Magic but have been exposed offensively when the ball isn't in Cade's hands

Heat are still a question mark in terms of playmaking and shooting. on paper, Klay looks great but he's no longer an all-star level player and it remains to see if the Heat can thrive with Bam and Giannis in the paint at the same time

Pacers should be at worst 6th assuming Haliburton is fully healthy at the start of the season. Unless Zubac is a disastrous fit with Haliburton (compared to Myles Turner)

That Pistons Team Has 2 All Stars and a great defensive core,Ausar is an All Star and he’s going to comeback with a jump shot and when he does it’s going to be scary for the East. That Detroit team won 60 games with PURE defense and physicality.

Miami Heat have Elite Basketball culture, they have the best coaching staff in the league as well, Now they have 2 All Stars Caliber players, Look what they’ve done without talent 2020 NBA Finals run , 2023NBA Finals run with teams that had no business being there. They Turn Silver into Gold, They turn Juice into Wine.

I don’t think Pacers are a regular season team, they’re more so a playoff team similar to the Knicks. 76ers, Knicks, and Pacers, and Celtics are the Most experienced teams in the East. Their teams that can only lose in 6 or 7 game series at most. They can’t be easily beaten.

Pistons have been great defensively the past 2 yrs but their downfall each time in the playoffs is the lack of offense/shot creation which they have lack outside of Cade (Duren may have finished All NBA 3rd Team but got massively exposed going down from 19/12 to 10/9 with no go-to move and will be hunted moving forward). 60 wins sounds great but for the same reason the Knicks finally moved on from Thibs, most teams don't have as much effort in the regular season but when you get to the playoffs when teams have the same intensity if not greater than you defensively, it becomes extremely difficult to win playoff games without 2-3 go-to scoring options. Pistons currently only have Cade asd their definitive all-star and I do not see Ausar getting close to an all-star for the next 2-3 seasons without a serviceable 3pt shot. If I was the Pistons, I would have gone hard after Booker or even Lavine but now it's kinda too late and I would also let Duren walk tbh if he is only willing to take 40M+ per year.

Miami lost most of their depth to get Giannis and a washed Bobby Portis. The Heat Culture that ppl think about died when Jimmy Butler got traded to the Warriors in 2025. If they cannot get 25-30 PPG from THJ/Klay/Portis/Larsson off the bench, the Heat are going to struggle to win games comfortably. Davion Mitchell has been decent as a shooter and passer but does not have the scorers' mentality and will be picked on by the defense if he keeps passing up shots. Heat will have at most 3 yrs to make Giannis/Bam work before both start to decline.

Golden State is 1 Stephen Curry injury away from being a Top 5 Lottery team, and that's factoring in Jimmy Butler still being injured. rn they are a play-in team at best.

Boston imho made a bad mistake trading away Brown at least for this upcoming season (which in turn helps the Knicks/76ers). Unless Tatum changes his shot diet and stops taking contested 3s, I'm not sure how much PG and Conley have left in the tank. Mitch I'm sad to see go but on the Celtics he is the starting C which may put him at a disadvantage since he can't play more than 7-8 consecutive minutes (which we were able to mitigate using him as a luxury backup big behind KAT). Celtics should still be in the playoffs easily but no longer as invicible as they were in 2024.
