Which characters are gonna replace the current Admiral staff?
The potential candidates are:
  • Coby: No need to say much about why he will become one. He declared it on the start of the show 20 years ago and that's exactly where his path is leading him. Whether it will be soon or in some 10 years late Epilog is up for debate but I dont think anybody seriously doubts that he will become one at some point.
  • Helmeppo: I wouldn't bet on him becoming one but if Coby gets a promotion to Fleet Admiral or Commander In Chief then I don't think that it would be absurd for Helmeppo, who appears to have the right hand man role, to get a promotion to the Admiral rank.
  • Smoker: Before we entered the New World I'm sure that nobody would doubt that this man would become an Admiral but a lot people were dissapointed with his performance at Punk Hazard. Despite that I am perhaps one of few who still has great hopes for this man. And well so does Luffy considering that he declared to want a proper fight with him. Besides Coby, he is the only one, who I am sure about, to become an Marine Admiral.
  • Tashigi: The reason to why I think she might become one is kinda similar to why I think Helmeppo might one, only that Tashigi has also that whole female empowering going on which makes her more likely. I could imagine her becoming the first female Admiral.
  • X Drake: He did great as a pirate and now we know he does even great as a marine. Not sure what to say lol.
  • Sentomaru: Once again not sure what to say except to point out that he's young strong promising marine.
So these are IMO the best candidates we have. Vote and discuss about whoever who think gonna be it. Perhaps you have someone in mind who I didn't mention and could add in the poll.

Coby won't become fleet admiral. He'd stop at admiral. His dream doesn't need him to become fleet admiral. The only ones i see as potential fleet admiral are Kuzan and Fujitora.

Kuzan because he has an opposite ideology to Akainu, decided to leave the marines to continue with his ideals, which could potentially lead him to lead the marines against when the one with the wrong ideology(Akainu) will be defeated with the creation of the new marines. It's also not impossible for Kuzan to be part of the SWORD, which are antagonists to Shields, with the members of the SWORD becoming the new generation of marines counter-parts to current marines and having Kuzan as their leader

But for that to happen, it'd depend on if Kuzan will die by Blackbeard's hands or not, which i think became a possibility ever since Kuzan decided to join the Blackbeard pirates, with Oda likely favoring the final villain over him if he ever tried to betray him

And if he ends up dying instead, i see Fujitora taking the place of fleet admiral due to his actions in getting rid of Shichibukai system, his ideology matching that of Smoker and other potential strong marines

Helmeppo is destinated to always fall behind Coby. I don't see him as an admiral. He'd end as vice-admiral at best. Tashigi won't be admiral as well. I see her ending as vice-admiral as well.

Considering Drake is Coby's captain in the SWORD, that he is part of the worst generation and wanted the marines to change preskip, he is one of the strong potentials to end as admiral in my opinion.

And due to Smoker's history as a marine, i expect him to be an admiral as well, so overall the way i see it, the marine structure after the current marine system will fall will look like this

Fleet admiral - Kuzan or Fujitora
Admirals - Coby, Drake, Smoker
Vice-admirals - Helmeppo, Tashigi, Hina, and so on..

The next three admirals are:
Coby, Drake and Sentumaruu

Fleet Admiral will be someone from older generation cause Fleet Admiral should have wisdom and age on his side.
Someone like Fujitora or Aokiji would be a nice choice.

But if Oda intends for Coby to take the position, then Helmeppo will be the third admiral.

Smoker is a no, cause he imo would prefer to stay as Vice admiral and be on the loose most of the time with more freedom. Same as Garp

The New Generation of Marines, after the fall of the tenryuubito, will be the weakest the Marines have ever been which also makes sense since the One piece world in itself is more peaceful then ever.

- Fleet Admiral: Fujitora

- Admirals: Coby, Smoker and X Drake

- Vice Admirals: Tashigi, Helmeppo, Hina, Sentomaru, Momonga and some others as well.

Helmeppo will be Coby's pet VA

There wont be a next generation per se, just two personnel changes:
Coby replacing Kizaru and Smoker replacing Sakazuki as Fleet Admiral

The Admirals are thematically based on three things:
actors
colours
characters (their nicknames) within Momotaro
All we're missing is a crab and a dragon
Dunno what actor Coby is based on, but Smoker is based on Clint Eastwood. None of the other candidates are based on actors.
The characters missing are the Crab and the Dragon

Now, that being said, the colour palette is very important. Kizaru, being yellow, is the only primary colour still merely an Admiral and not promoted/deposed/fired. Orange replaces yellow so that Purple, Orange and Green make a secondary colour trio like the pre-skip trio was all primary colours.

All primary and secondary colours combined = white. Each Admiral's colour relates to their powers and personality. Smoker is white.
The three primary colours combined = Gold. Sengoku was gold. It makes sense that the next FA is white.

So yeah, Fleet Admiral Smoker (White Dragon), Admirals Coby (Orange crab), Issho (Purple Tiger) and Ryo (Green Bull)

I have a theory on how this can all take place which I posted ages ago on OJ, in which Sabo dies and Coby gets the Mera Mera no Mi (half of that may have happened as per 956). Smoker and Coby quickly rise up the ranks and EoS Smoker is entrusted to usher in the new age of marines with his code of pure justice and Cobys code of enthusiastic justice.

It's possible that Tashigi might take his place tho, assuming she lives up to her role in becoming what Kuina was aiming at.

What rank has more freedom than being top of the food chain? (Fleet Admiral)
Especially after what we can predict may happen to the WG

Coby is for sure , Smoker may become Admiral White Dragon ( Shiroryuu )

Fleet Admiral is for more experienced one :
Kuzan or Issho

Ryokugyu also will stay as an Admiral , if he is actually a good person

Ayy somebody's read my OLD theory ;)

Smoker is experienced though. He's been a Marine for about 20 years now. He's almost as old as Kuzan himself. IIrc the age gap is 6 years or so.
