thematically, Coby getting the Mera Mera no mi doesn't make sense.
Sabo inherited Ace's will

unless it turns out that Coby is somehow a D, I can't see coby eating it.

Coby should eat Aokiji's DF. It makes sense for Coby to inherit Aokiji's will as both of them are marines that directly stood against akainu. IMO Akainu isn't Luffy or Sabo's fight but rather Coby's. Coby is to the marines what Luffy is to the pirates. What's more is that Akainu is to the marines what blackbeard is to the pirates. By eating the hie hie no mi, Coby will gain the power to defeat Akainu. This theory will have a ton of more support if it turns out that Aokiji is actually a member of SWORD.

as for the mera mera no mi, I think that Luffy will use some sort of method to eat 2 DFs.

that makes the most sense to me. First Ace, then Sabo. The next person should be Luffy.

as to how he could do it? IMO the answer is advanced CoC. Since CoC allows one to be able to overpower the wills of others, I think its also possible for ACoC to allow one to control the wills of others. Essentially, Luffy will be able to use CoC to prevent the devils in his body from destroying himself

the mera mera no mi has always been the fruit that fought against blackbeard. The light that counters Blackbeard's darkness.

Ace fought blackbeard

Sabo fought Burgess, blackbeard invaded baltigo, and it is very likely that blackbeard will play a role in Sabo's death("I won't let the marines get a hand on it," could refer to the mera mera no mi).

And eventually Luffy will fight blackbeard too.

Whether I'm correct about this makes zero difference to the probability Coby will become an Admiral. He will become an Admiral regardless. But, the will of Ace and Sabo can certainly be implemented through a character like Coby. He's one of the genuine Marines who would love to see the WG reshaped if not deposed in order to make for a better world.

The last Admiral colour to come is Orange. The Orange admiral will have an orange power. Based on the typical/stereotype colour depictions of these kinds of power in anime/manga:
Akainu - Red Dog - Magma = Red
Aokiji - Blue Pheasant - Ice = Blue
Kizaru - Yellow Monkey - Light = Yellow
Fujitora - Purple Tiger - Gravity = Purple
Orange Ice isnt a thing unless when Coby gets this Hie Hie no Mi (according to your prediction) he can only freeze Orange Juice... come on dude, a little bit of forethought here please haha!

The only Orange powers we have seen are the Mera Mera no Mi and Netsu Netsu no Mi. I actually prefer the latter fruit, I think it suits Coby more. But from a theoretical standpoint, is Oven going to die? Highly unlikely. Is Sabo going to die? Is he already dead? You can see the balance on the scales tipping.

Tashigi and Helmeppo depend on whether Coby or Smoker ascend above Admiral. As for those 2, Coby is locked to becoming Admiral. Smoker could go either way since his arc is centred around reforming the Marines. Whether it be through it within or becoming a wandering agent like Kuzan, is unsure.

Sentomaru is a plausible candidate, as he seemed to regard Luffy and co highly, showing he’s a well intentioned and honorable marine.

I don't think that Coby, Fujitora, and ryokugyo are part of the same generation of admirals

Coby will become an admiral alongside Smoker, Drake, and possibly Sentomaru. Why should his color go along with Fuji and Ryo?

Akoji/Kuzan is 49, Borsalino is 58. That is a 9 year difference between them, not 20 years.
The difference between AKoji age and Borsalino's age is also the difference between roger and Big Mom. Roger was 9 years older than Big Mom.

Point still stands though. The Admirals are typically recruited when a spot is opened. Not en masse. There's no "generations", it's an incredibly slow revolving door.

Do you mean Gion and Tokikage? That's certainly possible, but there's a reason they weren't selected. Plus, the others may be better candidates when the time comes for new recruitment.
