If I'm just theorizing with my own biases, probably 1 more "Saga" akin to the "Yonko Saga". Could be 200 more chapters, could be 500 more chapters, could be anywhere in the middle. But I think this is what we are getting.
In this "Final Saga", we would need to build up the stories of the 2 remaining Yonko, the WG, Revolutionaries and the final war. Aka, we have to start from a moderately slow, story building arc again, but they don't need to be exactly long. For the record, I think Oda is full of shit in thinking he will finish in 5 years. Wano's current pacing and how much needs to finish is clearly evident of that.
IMO:
- Mid-Acts/Post Wano Chapters (5-10 more chapters total): Here, we will learn the following facts: Blackbeard has obtained Pluton. Sabo and his commanders disappeared with Kuma. The WG considered reported him dead. Vivi was the attempted assassination, but her father was secretly murdered and she was in fact captured by Im. Alabasta is revolting.
- Beehive arc (20 Chapters): Consists of teasing the Blackbeard Pirates rule, affiliation and potential control of the underworld and the underworld emperors. Crocodile becomes a factor again this arc. Bonney shows up from the Reverie fallout attempting to find Kuma's trail, who disappeared using his power. Sabo and the other 3 commanders grabbed onto him when it happened. Bonney is trying to look for Vegapunk's facility. Que plot to get them there.
- Vegapunk arc (50-80 chapters): Consists of Kuma's backstory with the Revolutionaries and World Government, explaining the Revo's goals. Sabo, Caesar and Germa are central to the arc as well. Smoker and Tashigi return. Ryokugyu is there to chase the Revolutionaries, so he is introduced. Very technology oriented and an bvious, heavy focus on Vegapunk and the SSG. Explanation of Devil Fruits and their origin. Most of the arc deals with stopping upgraded Pacifista (including Kuma) from being used in heinous ways via the Underworld. More of CP-0 is revealed here as well and further explains the future conflict between the Revo's (those who want to take down the Tenryuubito) and and CP-0 (those who obey their every command). Main villain is from the Underworld, not the SSG or CP-0, whom will carry onto the Final War. This arc is mainly setting up the Revolutionaries, SSG, CP-0, while also closing out the Underworld plotline. Not to mention but I think it will be heavily related to Chopper, Franky and Robin in different ways (obvious reasons if you think about it).
- Elbaf arc (60-100 chapters): Will centralize on building up Shanks as a Yonko, with some potential backstory relating there. Bege will return and Urouge's motivitions will be revealed. Enel will return. Uranus will be central to the arc. Sky Islands and potentially the moon may be central to the arc plot). Yes, Big Mom will return but less a Yonko and more about her weird storyline with Mother Caramel. I think its vital that plotline closes, even if Bege isn't present or her children. Clearly she doesn't know she ate them, and I think that is a huge plot point that needs to be addressed. Anyhow, Elbaf itself has Prince Loki and Yggdrassil (its huge tree whose branches seem to stretch beyond the horizon in some panels). It will be extremely world, giant and sky island focused. It will centralize on Usopp and his relationship with his father and his dream. This arc is also the point in the story where people will realize Shanks isn't some goodie two shoes that is Luffy's perfect idol. Some underlying character plot related to God Valley and Rocks may come from this. Big Mom will be a witness. Perhaps Blackbeard will be present. I actually think that this is where Big Mom's character arc comes full circle and she has complete redemption by dying for some immensely big reason.
- Lodestar arc (25 chapters): The final island geographically in the new world. We will find some deep plot points hinting at the WG and its ties to the world. I do agree with the possibility of the 9 Supernova all meeting up and all either conceding to Luffy aside from Kid. Kid and Luffy fight, Luffy wins. Kid concedes. Unless it happens in Wano, then the arc is shorter.
- I believe the above needs to happen in order for us to "Geographically" feel like the strawhats progressed across the 2nd half of Grand Line. So far, Punk Hazard, Dressrosa and Wano are truly the only actual islands part of the main journey. Zoe and WCI were essentially veered off from the main voyage in a way. I'm sure we'll know how far Wano is from the end after this point, but they clearly must keep moving towards Lodestar as the last RP is hidden and I assume Oda won't throw them backwards towards the Final War just yet. If Vegapunk isn't next, then I can see it happening after Elbaf, but I believe its characters and plot points need to be set up before the final war, so Oda will devote a medium sized arc to it and closing some other faction plotlines. The above 4 arcs builds to the bulk of the Final War:
- Road to Laugh Tale/Laugh Tale itself (20-40 chapters): Heavily focused on finding out EVERY mystery in the series. Will have some of the best chapters and be super story focused. Will set up the Strawhats pre-destined role in the final war. Blackbeard will do something dire, like steal One Piece from Luffy and use it with Pluton to subjugate everyone to his will (whatever One Piece is, I think it is an extremely powerful weapon that may actually be used to control the 3 Ancient Weapons). I think the WG national treasure is also central to this.
- The Final War (150-200 chapters): Shanks has his own goals as well and is the polar opposite from Blackbeard. Blackbeard has a huge pirate army, and begins to attack the WG for the National Treasure. Shanks actually sides with the WG for unknown reasons. From Laugh Tale, Luffy and his alliance push towards Mariejois to Im and Blackbeard. Cue Luffy's battle with Akainu and the Strawhats vs. the Admirals/Vice Admirals. The main marine force falls the first half of the final war. The SSG are handled by a mix of allies and the Strawhat Fleet. The 2nd half consists of raiding Mariejois and fighting Im, the Gorosei and Blackbeard. Chaotic battles ensue between a variety of characters taking on the WG and Blackbeard Pirates. Blackbeard aims to destroy Redline and Mariejois with Shirahoshi, Pluton and Uranus, somehow in tandem with One Piece and the National Treasure. Im is trying to maintain this control and order and whatever goals revealed through the Void Century. The Revolutionaries face off against CP-0. At some point Fishman Island is destroyed and Noah is used to save its inhabitants. Im and Blackbeard are defeated, HOWEVER, this all leads back to whatever Shanks goals of peace are....
- God Valley (40-50 chapters): This is the final battle with Shanks, with Mihawk, with Yasopp, etc. This is where the series culminates to, to end it where it started for Luffy. To return the hat. To surpass Shanks. For Zoro its to face Mihawk. Admittedly, I don't know what Shanks' goals are, but I know they aren't exactly noble. The guy is talking to genocidal Gorosei. Oda purposefully made this a double spread with massive shock for his readers to go "WHAT THE FUCK" when we read it. I do believe it will happen at God Valley. Something is there that Rocks wanted, not just to kill the Tenryuubito. There was a reason the Tenryuubito were there. There is a reason the WG has eliminated the island from existence. Laugh Tale and Pirate King was never Shanks' goal, God Valley was. I believe he was related to Rocks. I believe Blackbeard was Rocks' inherited will. This is similar to Ace being Roger's son, but Luffy being the inheritor of Roger's will.
- Epilogue (20-30 chapters): All character endings/dreams/etc. Story ends.
Now yes, when you tally it up here, at minimum you are seeing 385 more chapters (discounting Wano) or max 545 chapters. I KNOW both of these numbers are ridiculous and OF COURSE I don't expect to see all of these arcs and plotlines. Essentially, this is just my super biased "dream" of how the story will pan out.
Definitely don't take it too seriously. I'm also missing a ton of shit, which is sort of concerning since I tried to address most characters or storylines left. It might be way more condensed (Wano is making me doubt it) than this, or he may not address things, I know. Vegapunk could just be thrown into Elbaf or just included in the Final War. But I can hope. I can hope he writes One Piece for 600 more chapters lol, but that's like 15 more years so I doubt. I am extremely curious to see how it truly goes though.
