Let's be real, there have only been a handful of arcs in the whole series where Ussop has been useful. I think it was just jarring for me because this was the first Alabasta/Ennies Lobby arc where all the strawhats get a fight since I was in middle school, so I was really thinking he would at least do something, but no, he just ran away.
