I once wanted her to join, she's quite an interesting character imo, but I knew from the beginning that she was more of an arc princess than nakama material. I also wonder what 3-eyed tribe special powers are, it may even not be connected to reading poneglyphs, but maybe seeing the future or something like this. But yeah, even if Pudding somehow does end up on Sunny, she's likely to travel with the crew, but not be a SH, she's too weak and her DF isn't combat-oriented, so unless her dormant powers make her a Jean Gray kinda powerhouse, she will stay a princess
I still wonder how Toki and her 2 children survived being on a pirate ship (Roger’s of all things?!) for so long despite being able to do literally nothing? Pudding and Toki have DFs that aren’t, like you said, combat oriented. They would’ve had to of been protected most of the time.

But it’s a backstory from the past, so it’s not like details matter. :suresure:

I suppose prob one of the biggest factors in more people rallying behind the idea of someone joining the crew is how uplifting the relationship between Luffy and the would-be crewmate is. One thing I notice with his would-be crewmates is that often they're feeling down or in low spirits, if not, at their lowest point, and Luffy then does something to bring their spirits up to a higher level.

That's prob one reason I figure why some people weren't rallying behind Yamato even though she wanted to join, because there really wasn't a moment between Luffy and Yamato where Luffy uplifted her from her lowest point, and anything we could point to as having been that was quickly pushed to the side because of the whole Kaido fight going on.
