Kaido wants to protect Yamato, that's what I believe. King knows everything about Kaido, and he knows what would his captain want if he was alive.
we saw how Kaido beats Yamato in this page:
but suddenly few pages later, instead of seeing a KOed Yamato, we saw both Yamato and Kaido standing in base form, so how can this be explained? how did Yamato stand again if Kaido didn't stop hitting her, why did Oda skipped that part of the battle?
She also asked him, why did he steal her freedom? why did he steal Wano's freedom?

I think Oda intends to follow through with Luffy only recruiting 10 members.
However, characters like Vivi and Yamato are clear arguments for pushing past the 10 member mark.
Luffy's 10 member limit rule can be worked around, if there's a second captain recruiting more members.
I think Jinbe will be the last member to join while Luffy is the captain, and Yamato will be the last to join when the second captain reveals himself.
Yamato's journey as Oden and Kaidou will be fulfilled by Yamato copying both routes.
Yamato will join Rocks, Whitebeard and Roger's crew.
Yamato will have an Emperor crew and Scabbards.
I think there will be 26 Strawhats to represent each letter of the alphabet.
Luffy recruited 10, and Zoro will recruit 16 members.

Monet being dead is a good thing because the straw hats could use a logia user, but like the next user of the Snow Snow Fruit would be an actual member in the crew.
Monet being alive can mean Caesar just stabbed a random heart, that Law gave to Caesar, and Monet collapsed at the same time. This would pretty much mean that Law is not a bad disgusting doctor/pirate after making an alliance with Luffy.
Law is a good hearted doctor (saved Luffy in Marineford), so why would he make someone kill a Logia user that the crew lacks?
Her devil fruit being eaten by someone different because she’s dead is also good, instead of the other results.

Monet appearing currently with her power, still being the Snow Snow fruit, so she could end up taking Bonney’s DF after her death (how is Bonney going to survive). All Logia users might be able to do that. Monet was doing a research on little kids and giants. Going to Elbaph lines up with Monet’s return so perfectly.
