It's Loki being too strong. Nobody stronger than Sanji is joining. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji has always been the top 3 SHs, and there's no reason to assume Oda will randomly toss it aside after enforcing the dynamic for more than a quarter century.
Sanji will have to surpass Loki and become a top tier for him to have a chance.

We waited 10 years IRL for Jinbei despite slander and denial but he joined eventually.
Its naive to assume others won't join, we've had only 1 new SH post TS and Zeus technically is a nakama too but they're quiet about that.

I'm one of those who think people overrate Yamato's strength. Not only was she outdone by Zoro against Kaido, Gearless Luffy fought much better than her and was taken more seriously by Kaido. Zoro, Kidd and Law are more powerful than her.
Yamato's biggest issue was her dream, which would've been completed by simply sailing with thr SHs. She would've been the only SH with a finished dream, and sailing is just a secondary reward for SHs who all have bigger individual dreams.

To the grand fleet at least sure. Or they can stay in Wano and protect it in her stead, its not rocket science.
Well they can do both, they dont need to leave Wano to join the fleet and the fleet is almost useless and irrelevant anyway. Yet I don't see you hypocrites constantly complaining about that too.

It's bad enough what he's done to Carrot and the trolling with the rabbit symbolism in Egghead and Elbaph and no cover story for her, not even any panels of her at at all too. Just one cover page and being in a colour spread at least if not more.

Zoro also did not fight Kaido alone
And the Kaido Zoro fought was holding back a lot more than the Kaido Yamato fought, the story kept saying his haki was getting stronger
Zoro post King fight is YC1
Yamato is YC+
Zoro and Sanji became as strong as Yamato in Egghead
And Kid and Law are also far stronger than Zoro and Sanji, Zoro and Sanji can only stall an emperor, two Kids or two Laws defeat the world's strongest creature
