What was the Difference between Naruto being the Chosen One and Ninja Jesus, literally being the reincarnation of Ninja Jesus, Son of the Forth Hokage, and Child of Prophecy.
And
Luffy Being Pirate Jesus. Being the second Coming of Joy boy. And the freer of the oppressed?
Neither were done well, and there were Asspulls from both. But Luffy gets way more hate for it?
Why?

I don't know about Naruto, but Nika is probably just the in-universe name for Jesus in One Piece, since there are so many parallels, including the title of sun god

The morning star is Venus. In the original Greek verse it is phosphoros and in the Latin lucifer.

Oh alrighty, if you want to we can talk about the parallels, some places might reffer to Venus as the morning star, but in this context I am sure that it is reffering to the sun, because the current spiritual state of the world described in the Bible matches up with cosmology with God as the sun, and the prophecied new creation and the passing away of the old matches up with a lot of things, and it parallels Luffy coming back to life, his hair and clothes turning white, and him jumping in front of the moon and it turning into the sun, that's why I said him doing that is a spoiler given by the anime,

Edit: Just like the colors being given off by his heartbeat in Gear 5 are likely a spoiler for Emeth and for later happenings =],

The morning star is 100% Venus, it is a normal way to refer to it. You can check on Wiki too. It would be weird to call the Sun that, because it's a moniker universally used to talk about Venus.

Ninja Jesus was probably a bit more meme worthy due to Naruto starting off as a "hard work ethic is important" kinda manga with its corny "believe it" catchphrase before it went into reincarnations of ninja deities or whatever.

One Piece has always leaned towards destiny, fate, prophecy and whatnot, so Luffy turning into Pirate Jesus really isn't surprising in hindsight. Nika is still an utterly unentertaining power regardless and I detest looking at it. Lol.

I used to berate Naruto because he had a jesus MC while One piece didn't, it was one of the points that made OP better. But now Oda discarded all that underdog narrative about Luffy (which was still barely acceptable despite him being the son and nephew of big shots) to follow that same exact ruinous plot so he is getting shot at by all the old OP fans (for the downfall that Wano was pretty much, Nika is just the cherry on the top), don't know about the new ones since a lot of them come from Naruto (some even with the clear objective to shit on OP while some other may even consider it good since Naruto did the same)(also in a way it seems also that OP copied Naruto, another nail in the coffin).

Actually this is a reference to Surya's celestial son Hanuman

Naruto was always the child of the prophecy, that much didn't bother me. It would be his job to fix things, we knew this for long time.

But being a literal incarnation was incredible shitty, and to boot Sasuke was included in the choosen one deal too. Atrocious.

Then there was Ichigo, who was literally all the races available in Bleach.

I truly liked Luffy being a genius overpowered pirate with a good lineage, make no mistake, Luffy was always special, he was never the underdog untill Crocodile

But the Nika things is horrendous, I don't even mind the toon force powers, but what it represents

In the end all of the big 3 were bs choosen ones
