It's even worse in TotK since you get the durability upgrade just once when you forge the master sword with other items. You can always forge the master sword with other items but once you've done it, you'll never get the durability upgrade again (every weapon gets a small durability upgrade after forging). Even if the master sword is charging for 10 minutes.

The Legend of Zelda: Chronicle of the Sealed Wars" is the first Zelda title for the Nintendo Switch 2. To be honest, we wanted to be the first. However, the inspiration we gained from working with Koei Tecmo will certainly be reflected in our Zelda. Please imagine this while playing Chronicle of the Sealed Wars and look forward to our Zelda.
Tbh I'm quite fed up with the Wilds era. Nintendo needs to do something new. That was always the unique trait of every Zelda game. Also, Aonuma confirmed they're done with the Wilds era. Age of Imprisonment was the last thing we'll see from this era.
I guess they will make a more story driven Zelda game this time since AoI was so much better compared to BotW/TotK when it comes to story. If it's anything gameplay-related, I guess I'll pass on the new Zelda game.

It's funny since the Switch 2 itself is fairly priced imo. It's cheaper than the PS5 for example.
But the games themselves are typically way too high, even for DK Bananza which is so far the best game I've played. It shouldn't be 70 bucks (90 with the DLC). Even the greatest games should be 40 to 50 at most imo
