Human flesh will always get cut by a sword, the fuck y’all on? It isn’t any more a weakness than any other person getting cut.

It’s just a weakness in the sense that Luffy is more vulnerable to getting slashed because of the nature of his devil fruit if he’s caught lacking. His encounter with Mihawk was a good example at Marineford. Physical blows are much harder to do damage to him so a blade proves more effective as well.

It’s not like he’s naturally weaker than others to getting cut, as in doing way more damage.

Common sense.

That just means he strong against physical blows but maintains the same susceptibility to slashes as anyone else.

The point is "weakness" is compared with other Attack Types, and not with other characters.
Regular Humans are weak to Everything.
Luffy was/is a "Rubber Man", he is different from Regular Humans. He is immune to Blunt attacks, Piercing attacks while weak to Cutting attacks.

Because nobody is comparing Luffy to others when they make that statement.
They are comparing how Blunt Force works or Lightning strikes work on Luffy v. how Cutting Attacks work on Luffy.
