X can fight me but Y can only fight for 10 seconds or wtv! Who's manufacturing alternative facts here, when did kaido make a distinction between their levels? So Oden can fight him, Roger can fight him but Oden can't fight Roger or did I miss something? There are no levels between them otherwise they couldn't all be in the same group of people that can take on Kaido.

Honestly do think the garp comparison are fair with him essentially being what roger is to pirates but for the marines

Both roger and garp are like 2 sides of the same coin. Setting the standard and reaching the peak of what they do. And in both cases likely without a fruit

Roger still was able to accomplish more and be on the top of that level through his haki not relying on fruits like shiki, newgate, linlin, or kaido

Dragon definitely has crazy ambition no doubt about it but there isn't much else to go by for him. We just need to wait to finally see more

Kaido statement was mainly only about Roger

Shanks didn't conquer the seas as King of this era nor as WS despite his haki, he's below Kaido & BM
Prime Garp was never even above YYonko despite his haki, he still was struggling vs Chinjao.

Roger had max haki + top skills + i bet D. Clan ancestral powers.

Roger is just the exception. Every King of the seas or WS has df except him!

What kinda powers do you expect being a d would give someone?
Would all d's have the same potential power or different branches get different stuff?

There are numerous factor i reckon when it comes to conquering the seas in Roger's case that should be taking into account

remember Roger stole the RP coz of Voice of all things - no mi and didn't confront BM

so assuming Roger Blitzkrieged his way through the journey with haki is an erroneous conclusion to come upon and i believe what Kaido said is actually nuanced and shouldn't be taken at face value...there was an aspect of luck, determination/perseverance, derive, and some arbitrary aspects like Oden, Zou... etc

You can't argue that the other Yonko had such leverages to themselves and should be able to pull it off as well
