After what i witnessed in wano can clearly say
If you are no the chosen one mc your fights will look worse than mid


Sanji vs Queen a horrendeus fight,this was his first real 1v1 since 2006 and man it was a below mid fight
Queen is a shit character
Name s queen the plague but his powers are germa genes :kobeha:




Zoro vs King:
Mid art + one single double spread(zoro awakening acoc was so ugly)
Bullshit power for king created over night
King an empty character "..."
Lets give a flying bird a flying bird fruit makes sense

Robin vs blackmaria
Mid,forgettable

Franky vs sasaki
??

Jinbei vs wsw
?

Lets not forget all those fights had Luffy inserted in them and its so cringe
Like we get it they like that clown but keep him away from their fights.

Queen did use very lethal plague weapons on the alliance but Marco and Chopper countered these.
There was an entire subplot around Queen's weapons which turned people to zombies.

Yes, it was kinda disappointing finding out that Queen's trumpcard were Germa powers instead of some cool plague transformation but I understand why Oda chose this path since this battle was supposed to be a clash between sciences. And on this case, Sanji won.

I can't say much to "mid art" because everyone's preferences to art is different.
But how is Zoro awakening ACoC so ugly???
What bullshit power for King? His Lunarian power? Even Big Mom pointed out that King's race is rare, so I don't get why his powers are illogical now...
King is not the most fleshed out character but he has more character than the majority of Zoro's opponents. He actually has an own backstory instead of Mr. 1, Ohm and Pica.
What DF should King get instead???

This battle had great fight choreography. What are you on about? We saw many Rokushiki skills, Haki clashes, cool moves and so on. Jinbe vs WsW was one of the best fights in Wano.

You act like Luffy's fight against Kaido was so superior to them. It just had more length which is normal considering that Luffy is the MC and Kaido being the antagonist of this arc.
Yes, Luffy vs Kaido had some pretty cool moments but there were also instances when the fight was just dragging around - for example Bajrang Gun vs Blazing Bagua.

Also, One Piece has been following this formular since East Blue; I don't really understand why it's bothering you now?

This battle had great fight choreography. What are you on about? We saw many Rokushiki skills, Haki clashes, cool moves and so on. Jinbe vs WsW was one of the best fights in Wano.

I agree the invincibility stuff was later on added but things sometimes can happen that Oda invents things out of a whim, you know? Guess how were the Supernovas created in the first place? This is not some Wano exclusive thing.

At least Op has lots of other elements to compensate for its overall mid-tier fight scenes. I can guaranteed that at least 30% or more of the entire fandom around the globe doesn't care of it's fight......
Most would rather see Luffy found one piece or Brook reunite with Laboon than 100s of top lvl fights.........
