General & Others Oda didn’t planned stuff on his plots

Of course not everything is planned all at once. Anyone who knows even the most basic of writing knows things can and will be changed a hundred times over, even for normal length stories and books. It'd be impossible for any mangaka who has a multi year story to tell to have everything brainstormed out from the beginning, and not change things up as the story progresses.

Oda is much better at improvisation than foreshadowing to begin with. The fact that he manages to include concepts like the Shichibukai or the Supernova into the story and make them work is nothing short of amazing, especially for a long-running series like One Piece. A lot of One Piece's best moments wouldn't even be in the story if Oda didn't improvise.

sandman's posts are pretty passive-aggressive though, and he always does it on break week to get the people riled up. It's like: "Here's what Oda said in this one interview from way back when in light of recent manga events :heart_eyes_emoji:."

Shanks appearing in Wano, Aramaki coming to Wano for that matter was obviously unplanned shameless promotion. Why the hell is he wondering about that?
Doubt Aramaki coming to Wano wasn't planned. Oda used him to cultivate the barren wasteland that it became, and make the vegetation grow again. That was 100 percent intentional in order to fix the Country.

The thing about the Supernovas not surviving in the New World i think was just a statement where he said "wow, its surprising they all survived" to hype the New World, but he didnt really planned to kill them

Mangakas are primarily visual artists. It comes with the territory.

Oda didn't get his role because he was an amazing writer. He did it because he was a good artist. The story was secondary.

Shanks at Wano was a mistake but everybody knows the real purpose.

Making half Supernova drop from New World is more or less what he did already. Where the fuck is Urougue? Hawkins were pointless. X Drake meaningless. Bonney uninteresting.
