I can't buy BB as a serious threat when oda made him go the wierd journey to the top that rivals buggy clown piece journey to yonkou, not the other yonkous like luffy or kaidou ir shanks or wb or roger.

Not having a bounty for 25 years in a yonkous crew sounds so stupid that makes marines so retarded, and not like he was some prisoner locked on ship. He fought roger pirates, he fought yonkou shanks and has his trademark scars from him.


And then he gets 1 shot by magellan the warden along with his crew and his so called master plan was ded right there.

Imagine kaidou and his crew 1 shit by magellan or shanks pirates or wb pirates and everything lost right there

His journey feels more like a comedy of fate like buggy that stayed low for 25 years in east blue, 15m pirate and now all of a sudden yonkou bitches!

Yeah...Ace thought BB should be YC instead of him based on seniority. If he had no achievements , i dont think Ace would have recommended him for YC based on just seniority..thats one of the plot hole in OP

yeah I think the Magelan thing was just a clumsy way to insert the "fate" theme. Maybe if it was an ambush or it said Magelan was as strong as an admiral it would have worked, dunno?
Still think BlackBeard is one of the few chars I have some hope in, but after the Im "super secret boss" reveal even that is shaky😂
