Oda giving One Piece a 2025 deadline isn't surprising. He has stated numerous times that he wishes to retire by the age of 50, and he turns 50 January 1, 2025. He also stated that he cutting so much and revealing lots with the Vivre Cards cause he doesn't have the time to address them in the manga.

Still have doubts that One Piece in will end in 2025, but we have a strong baseline of Oda's intentions.

Dressrossa Saga was. Punk Hazard isn't it's own arc
PH is its own arc, a part of DR saga.
DR Saga ---> PH Arc + DR Arc

Just like Skypea Saga is the result of Jaya Arc + Skypea Arc

Enies Lobby Saga is the result of Long Ring Long Land Arc + Water 7 Arc + Enies Lobby Arc

Alabasta Saga is the result of Whiskey Peak Arc + Little Garden Arc + Drum Arc + Alabasta Arc

Etc...

And One Piece isn't ending before 2028

Dressrossa was 148 chapters
Wano is shaping up to be longer than that

And yet here we have Oda saying that he wants to end One Piece in 3 Years

that means that the Final Arc is gonna be as long as two arcs that were supposed to be landfill arcs preparing the protagonists and readers for the final arc

There is zero reasons for this. DoFlamingo and Kaido's Forces have zero merit to have as many focus as The Blackbeard Red Haired Pirates and the World Government combined
Fishman Island,Punk Hazard,Dressrosa,Zou and Whole Cake Island were all a set up for Wano.So they all count as part of the Wano plot Imo.

Let's not forget we are dealing with Oda.He is notorious for extending his manga.Originarlly it was supposed to last only a couple of years, thanks to the warlords it didn't.Then when the time skip happened he said OP would only last 5 years.LOL and here we are yet again with a 3 year promise that probably will turn out to be more 5 or 6 years of manga.
