Udon, that could have easily been cut in half
The whole Sumo Wrestling thing in Kuri was dumb

Oda tries too cram every character possible. which is why it makes it so unnecessarily long

I agree in general, but I'm going to wait until Act 4 drops before rating Wano Arc as a whole.

When all is said and done, this arc lives and dies in the war (aka Act 4). If it tanks, there goes the arc.

If it delivers, however, woah!

The need to fight Kaido was established in PH and Dressrosa.
Not to mention helping Kinemon, his alliance member.

Of course he does, then it just means luffy has 0 ties to wano other than yes momo ill beat kaido who i was already going to go after before i met you.

In one hand we have seen barley anything from other strawhats , but oda spend valuable panels on those useless sub plots

Oda often uses these chapters to develop the setting and thus expand the lore: most of act 1 wasn’t about the conflict with Urashima or Holdem but rather about introducing Wano country.
