Egghead is pretty much ending, and yet again Lolda has forgotten to give other Straw Hats any attention.

this was the perfect arc for any Franky development or powerups, unfortunately Luffy and fanservice booba characters like Bonney get all the panels.

Anyone who has faith that Nami or Usopp will get development in Elbaf/Lodestar is dreaming.

nah its just accepted cause Lolda wont do shit different ever, thats why you have to choose between Luffy Zoro and Sanji cause all other SHs are lost causes

If Vegapunk succeed to escape from Egghead and go onboard Sunny, we have plenty chance of development.
Maybe not specifically for Franky, but some of Franky creation like Thousand Sunny definitely will be upgraded.

To be fair, Oda isn't promise that Egghead will be Franky's arc. It is the reader who has that expectations and as we already know, not every expectations could be fullfiled.

Even for the arc that Oda's explicitly "promised", like ... Sanji's WCI for instance, the delivery for some part are disappointing 😂 I like some part, but some part could be delivered better imho.
Guess that you really can't fulfill expectations from every readers

There was pretty much no lore too...Vegapunk will explain the mystery of DFs ...Literally gave one shitty dialogue which adds nothing..."I think DFs are manifestations of desires" that's why sea god hates it.... if it's scientific...then why does it involve a supernatural element stop mixing stuff and make it boring.

Goda can't go one single arc without making it all about the side characters and waste panels on Luffy filler, 25 years and counting.

Tbf, they were "leaving" Skypiea, Thriller Bark, Fishman Island and Punk Hazard 10-15 chapters in and those arcs all lasted 40-60 to the fights for their "climax".

There is a structure in how Oda does the smaller length arcs, where its generally ~10-20 chapters of buildup and then like 20-40 chapters of fighting. Longer arcs do a general 3 act structure, which is what Wano did literally lol, but CP9 and Dressrosa did the same thing. WCI is an exception, where it was originally paced like a smaller arc, then ballooned into something longer for Luffy vs Kata. Zou is also an exception, since it was a lore dump mainly.

So dont worry just yet, the main enemy hasnt arrived. I still think Egghead can last another 30-40 chapters depending on how Oda goes about Kizaru. Also if Vegapunk is boarding the ship, there will be plenty of time for growth for characters like Franky.

It's BS that he's said nothing to or about Sanji, and no that's not wanting Sanji lore, that's wanting him as a gateway to all the MADS lore that keeps getting teased in cover story. This was their literal head boss, why isn't he saying anything x.x
