Current Events Oda having the Flying Six not use Haki on the Straw Hats makes their wins not feel earned

Just look at how the fights panned out. Where in any of those fights would haki have changed anything?

Just because you have Haki and use it, it doesn't mean you are guaranteed victory. Luffy proved this against the BoA sisters.
With enough lvl of Haki:
-Franky wouldn't have been able to pierce Sasaki' stomach and that may have been his last laser he could do. Then we would have Franky vs Sasaki in CQC, Franky without Shogun against an Ancient Zoan...
-Robin wouldn't have been able to "clutch" Black Maria's body (since it's not the same to bend an human body and a bronze statue) and Robin can't fight anymore like we saw in the last chapter so easy win for BM.

Basically, haki is trash.
Well it allowed the Grandmaster to comprese the energy blast of Hakai, though his physical power also firmly contributed xd and of course ACoC can make one jump entire levels xd

Plus hax doesn't work against someone who got enough of a good haki

Seing the damage output from Luffy, Zorro and Sanji on a Pacifista pre and after timeskip (with the same attacks), it made a lot of differents. I think Oda didnt plan for the mid trio to get Haki so "soon" and ignored it for the fights with the f5.

People overrestemate Haki too much, Luffy beat both Boa sisters who had mastered both kinds of Haki.

I really loved the strawhat fights, Jinbei's fight was lore overload, Franky's was entertaining as hell and Robin was just shocking. Yes you can make the case that the Zoan tankyness which was hyped so much was dissapointing bar Ulti.

The only fight I didn't like was Nami because she didn't actually do anything. It was BM, Usopp and Zeus autopilot which defeated Ulti in the end.

They beat him like a child until he used his CoC on them. Directly aimed at the two of them. On others, a wave passed, an echo of this CoC.
At the beginning of the battle, Boa sisters radiated confidence in their abilities, after Luffy's CoC - fear and indecision(Although they tried to get together and give a fight, but they did not succeed). They admitted defeat, but they lost already at the moment when they obeyed his Will and obediently put the stone girls in their place.
And I think we should stop underestimating the strength of CoC after the last 24 chapters.
Yes, we can say that before CoC, Luffy did not use 2 and 3 gears, but the sisters also could kill him once or twice and etc, but they played. And they didn't suffer much after that. Luffy would eventually win, but not as easily as it was in the manga.
Post automatically merged:

What would happen to General Franky if Sasaki increased his attacks with CoA, when without it, he cuts Frany's sword and crumbles his armor?
What would have happened to Robin if Maria had amplified her blows with CoA Would Robin have been able to withstand this damage?
And this is only about one of the functions of the Haki.
