Luffy should beat Kaido after ACoC. No reason to lose again and beat after that. Unless that Zoro is the one to beat and kill Kaido. Or at least team up against him.

I was content with Luffy beating Kaido in a group effort with Zoro even delivering the final blow(not killing him) as long as the feat doesn’t outshine Luffy and the credit is shared by all those involved.

But with the CoC infusion and it’s importance to the plot and with all the power ups Luffy received this had to happen.

Let’s say Luffy, Kidd, Law, Zoro(instead of Enma BS) and Killer all learn Ryou from the Wano samurai and in a combined effort they defeated Kaido satisfyingly I would be more than happy,

Zoro doesn’t even need to face King, he could fight Marco instead while the Dukes jump on Jack, Kyoshiro and Orochi get killed before the raid starts, no Otama BS, Kinemon fights Kanjuro etc..

That’s the thing, the point was that the myth is broken but I stand with the notion that it should have been a group effort with Zoro or Luffy delivering the final blow but not in a way where any of them outshines the other

Why do I feel that Oda likes Kaido so much and wants to force us to like the character?

I feel like Kaidou is a place holder for a character he couldnt create. im sure after hes gone we will get tidbits of information in him every arc.

Btw do you think Kaido really is an Oni? Like I don’t know but it sounds weird how the fandom made a theory that Kaido is from some unique speech, I mean it would have been outright mentioned in the manga if that was the case
