Current Events Oda needs to learn that being unpredictable doesn’t make you a good writer...

Weak characters beating strong characters out of nowhere also doesn't make you a good writer. In fact, it's worse than just trying to be unpredictable all the time.
Laughable.
just give nami Zeus. That is IF he cares about power level which I don’t think he does. As if kiku penetrating kaido better then oden or zoro stopping 2 yonko attack then continues to humiliate them and blitz them (it brings so much money) or everyone trashing big mom makes any sense lol.

did you forget nami defeated kalifa anyways ?

or maybe you think ulti is dead and won’t come back soon ?

Oda does this to milk the arc as much as he can.his tricks are getting old.

How is he being unpredictable? Everyone knows that Luffy is gonna win eventually, also everyone knows that no SHs is gonna die in Wano, what else is important to be unpredictable? basic matchups/details that don't mean shit? Unless you really suck at predicting that's your fault lol.At this point in the arc King/Queen matchup predictions are completely unnecessary only guys that actually care for those are Sanji fans, wouldn't give a single fuck even if Chopper ends up finishing his fight with Queen. He is only unpredictable because alot of people on this forums have headcanon disorder and end up crying in the end.
but this also....
not matching your headcanon is not the same as being unpredictable.

oda is way less offensive in this scenario in comparison to other "subverting expectation" writers

I still get ptsd flashback to the last jedi, last of us 2, game of throne , AOT ... AOT off all things still hurts.
definetly a trend that needs to die, so mediocre writer are discouraged to do this
AOT ending is a lot better than anything post time skip One Piece.

Funny you mention it.
Onigashima reminds me A LOT of my experience watching The Last Jedi.
It was awful then, and it is awful now.

Actually Ulti and page one is perfect match for nami and usopp but oda forget to make them stronger since time skip, i remember zoro said in EL each shp is getting stronger in every island they come across, but somehow oda is too focus in world building and luffy, he didnt give usopp and nami haki or proper weapon, granted usopp already unlocking haki on dresrossa but still, oda never mention it again until now

For me Somehow it feels like wano is enies lobby, but nami, usopp, brook and robin is still on east blue level, they didnt get character development at all

The issue is that it feels like only Luffy is allowed to ignore Powerlevels . Everyone else more or less has to adhere to It.

Oda could have made that upgrade Usopp gave to Nami more powerful, he could have had the Ninja training they got matter. He could have gone several ways to make them stronger without it feeling like an asspull
He is not allowed to ignore powerlevels though. On the contrary, Oda restrict Luffy from his actual powerlevel until the fights that matter. If Luffy didnt hurry, Hody Jones would do this and that while Noah will go boom and bam! ...still didnt go G4 to oneshot Hody Jones. If Dofla woke up again after Leo Bazooka, Dressrossa would go bam and bim! ...still did no finisher to ensure Dofla's death and let the citizen fans surround him. Oda's ways makes Luffy's powerups seem like asspulls since he as an author restricted Luffy's actual powerlevel way too drastically before facing each final boss.

Rayleigh has tens of years with Roger, surely he knows his captain can do hot shit like Adv CoC flow coating? Even if Rayleigh himself cant do it, he can surely give major hints or description of what his captain did to produce such overwhelming Adv CoC flow effect. And suddenly Rayleigh had total amnesia! so Luffy the CoC specialist since the beginning post-TS must put together the puzzle pieces of Adv CoC during his life or death situation facing Kaidou. Stuff like that

Im the only one in WG who enjoy the actual OP ? and doesn't hate any character?.

I feel bad to hear how so many users dont enjoy OP. To be honest, the only thing i dont like about the Post-ts is how secondary characters have more panels and importance than Mugiwaras, i miss the interaction that they had pre-ts.
To be fair, Wano, and when I say Wano I actually mean Onigashima, has been REALLY shitty for me.
I dont think post-TS is as good as pre-TS, but I still enjoy it quite enough to follow it weekly and debate it with people.
Overall I just dont buy Oda cheap tricks to try and "hype" people over things I just find silly. Kaido's hybrid form, new haki lvl 10000, silhouettes, etc. These are not things that keep me hooked on a manga for 14 years. Which is why I enjoyed chapter 1012 so much. It's a silly thing, but I REALLY like the SH's interactions with each other. It brings me joy.
Some random ass scabbard number 20? Not so much.
