Current Events Oda needs to learn that being unpredictable doesn’t make you a good writer...

The issue is that it feels like only Luffy is allowed to ignore Powerlevels . Everyone else more or less has to adhere to It.

Oda could have made that upgrade Usopp gave to Nami more powerful, he could have had the Ninja training they got matter. He could have gone several ways to make them stronger without it feeling like an asspull
If that were true. Luffy would have always beaten his targets on the first try. He literally always has multiple rounds on his true enemies. It's the complete opposite, Oda is always making him look/be the underdog.

Yeah, it is truly mind boggling to have Nami act like she was gonna put Ulti away, only to pivot and make Big Mom slap her down in almost the very same breath. Would have made sense for Linlin to stop at knocking Page One out of contention, then show Usopp and Nami teaming up to defeat Ulti in a way that relies more on their cunning and shrewd tactics than strength. What are we doing here, with at least two members of the future Pirate King’s crew unable to do virtually anything against the kind of opponents they’ll be fighting from here on out??

2/6 Tobi Roppo just got taken out. The story is the story. Oda won't change it for people who don't like it and I can't convince you not to complain about it, so I dunno what to tell you. Sit back and watch the show I guess, since you won't actually quit.

Luffy doesn't ignore power levels. He got two upgrades to fight Kaido and still got knocked out
Okay if 2/6 Tobi Roppo got taken out? 2/6 Tobi Roppo was taken out at the cost of the story since now Oda had to introduce yet another plot device of Big Mom to take them out. He now has used THREE plot devices of Big Mom to help the straw hats. Also, duh captain obvious Oda isn't going to change it. Duh, you want a Nobel Prize for that comment? That is NOT what we are saying. We are criticizing the story not for the sake of having Oda change it. That is obvious but yet here I am explaining to you that simple fact.

Dude you need to chill out. It's not that serious.

Law jumped from being mid diffed by Doflamingo to fighting Kaido, I don’t think powerscaling matters in One Piece anymore...
What the fuck does this even mean? Even Kiku and Kinemon were "fighting" Kaido. He can't beat either in a 1 v. 1, how does that violate powerscaling?

I agree with you there. Law and Zoro tanked the same attack by Kaido that one shotted Luffy.
It wasn't the same attack. Kaido landed his club on Luffy's face. Law/Zoro ate a Haki blast.

Luffy has gotten KOed 3 times when the club lands on his actual face, including last chapter.

Law and Zoro just ate the Haki. Luffy ate Haki + club.

Its meaning is actually really simple. It means Oda needs to develop characters better instead of just stroking off to Luffy nonstop. Law fighting Kaido doesn't mean that Kinemon and Kiku fighting Kaido is any better. It is actually worse.

There is a difference between ganging up on someone and fighting them 1 v. 1. Weaker can fight stronger characters all the time in teams. There is nothing wrong with that.

Yes, I agree with you on this however you completely neglected context. The context was Law and Zoro tanking Kaido's Thunder Bugua. That was the context, not that Law can 1 v 1 Kaido.

I mean Zoro is pretty much out. And again, they just took the Haki blast. It's different when the club makes contact with your head.

When Luffy was KOed in 923, Kaido's scrubs said "That's the power of Kaido-sama's CLUB".

The reson oda defers all other battles because he want all battles (or at least all characters missions) have to end in the same time. But luffy is too weak so that his battle must be a long fight. Which means others battles will start when kaido and luffy about to end

Pretimeskip Luffy fought Aokiji. Love how people use X fought Y as powerscaling, even when Y got BTFO.

Base Luffy fighting Katakuri for hours completely ignored Powerlevels
Unless you thini Base Luffy is above Ichiji
I mean, Ichiji got up seconds after Katakuri dropped him. No different from Luffy and Katkuri. He juet had no reason to continue the engagement.

How is he being unpredictable? Everyone knows that Luffy is gonna win eventually, also everyone knows that no SHs is gonna die in Wano, what else is important to be unpredictable? basic matchups/details that don't mean shit? Unless you really suck at predicting that's your fault lol.At this point in the arc King/Queen matchup predictions are completely unnecessary only guys that actually care for those are Sanji fans, wouldn't give a single fuck even if Chopper ends up finishing his fight with Queen. He is only unpredictable because alot of people on this forums have headcanon disorder and end up crying in the end.
