It is unbearably lazy to just throw all the CP9 folks onto the team and serves no purpose in the narrative; their cover story ended with them escaping the cycle of performing state-funded assassinations and sailing off to something better, so throwing them back into the fold like this, with all sense of character development abandoned, is cheap writing for seemingly no reason. I didn’t expect them to become good guys, but I figured they wouldn’t go straight back to the organization that dictated their entire lives
