General & Others Oda should have less focus on Luffy

I read JJK and it is very amazing on how panels have been distributed across characters. Apart from Yuji, we have story for Yuta, Mugumi, Maki, and even villians.
For me, this make the world building super amazing with variety of personalities and tones. This is similar to HxH.

Imagine One Piece, which is very famous for the world building, has explored more on other characters like Marine, Yonko, revolutionary, supernova. Imagine having 100+ chapters exploring the world like Reverie arc. This manga will be unbeatable.

Unfortunately, in OP, Luffy is the center of every arc, foreshadow everybody, and make everyone become cheerleader. This is a big miss from Oda.

Yes I would love to see an arc focused on Sabo, Kuma/Vegapunk, Crocodile new world adventures or Coby making himself a prominent Marine unfotunately thats not how Oda does things and its Time to accept that, this is not JJK or Hunter x Hunter

Oda clearly wants to end the manga asap, we're probably never going to get any other arcs that deviate from the main plotline

I agree, the problem is not giving Luffy time, he is the MC, the problem is giving and Luffy being exactly the same after 1043 chapters.

He hasn't grown at all after so much, he says he cares about his teammates, but the first thing he does is act recklessly and put them at risk.

There is nothing wrong with a static character. One Piece is not a story where the story needs character growth or the MC needs to overcome flaws for it to progress.

What was the point in having Kaido toss Luffy out of the rooftop just to make Luffy lose again? If you gonna make Luffy get destroyed just do it once and we'll get the message, no need to make Luffy recover miraculously just to destroy him again. other fights could have taken that pannel time.

It is funny that one piece had always been Luffy centric and yet did people sleep for 1042 chapters. This thread is simply to bitch about Luffy and use so called other characters focus as a facade for that.

The One Piece fandom has been ruined by Bleach and Naruto refugees since 2010. I have been here long enough to say that these guys have been crying about One Piece not being Pirate Bleach for longer than a Fucking decade.

Some people here just want One Piece to have Minimalist Worldbuilding where only "Masculine Normal looking" Characters are given Panels and that arcs are 90% "Serious no BS" fights . Basically they don't want One Piece, they want a Generic Shounen with Pirates.

In my opinion what oda is doing is much more clever idea..
We get flash back all major antagonist and important side characters in their respective arcs.

If he start focusing side characters and arc without Luffy as u have suggested...Sells of one piece manga will definitely drop and that's not worth economically for manga..
