I was reading this thread and people still power-scale Shanks and Mihawk. If people actually use the correct words it would be nice. Haki = willpower, i don't think that Shank's willpower is weaker now, the stronger your will is the stronger you become. Yonko = Emperors, you don't need to be strong 1v1 to be an Emperor, Emperors are people who control a lot of territories and armies, people who have strong influence from politics to business to weapons etc.
When Whitebeard when to Marineford he brought his alliance with him, 40+ ships. BB took WB's territories after his dead and is building an army. Big mom has hundreds of islands, she has the best information/spy system from all the pirates, Kaido has an army of devil fruits users, all of them have territories and influence.
