WTF are people really this thick, the world of one piece is 3D, the two holes are most likely many kilometres from the entrance for the boats these, these are simple 2d maps to explain whats happen, this is just blind hate.

it's elevator/gondola leads straight up to hakumai

the holes that big mom&kaido fell in are in the land around the flower capital.
the cracks/fissures are new, conveniently only formed towards onigashima.
