I am very serious. Apothecary diaries is at least somewhat historically accurate and realistic, of course you won't have your standard "badass female warrior" type of characters run amok in the show. The women in the show - despite their role - are strong in their own regard though and we've seen how things are slowly beginning to change with the Maomao and Jinshi working together (young girls finally going to school etc.).

And female characters in Apothercary Diaries are far better written and often far smarter m, not difficult mind you since OP is a world of stupid, and more capable in other ways than OP female characters.
