Adventure, Fun and good Fights
MarineFord is just epic nothing more sure Ace and WB deaths are really impactful for the story but it doesn't deserve to be S+

Loguetown is pretty much a perfect arc,just like whiskey peak

my favorite arc is Zou. there were 2 funny gags. one with nico robin and the drawn dragon which she found kawaii and the other gag was with the bones of luffys friend(s), that meant brook. and the moment with: Raizo is safe! was epic and a big surprise for me. futhermore i like world building so i found the reveal and the lore about the road pornglyphs amazing. it gave new info and a course/goal. these are just the 4 most memorizable thing in my mind about this refreshingly SHORT post time skip arc.

I think everyone's really underrating the Foxy arc - it's easily the funniest arc in the story by a country mile.

Okay sure, there's no important villain (an arc doesn't actually need a villain) but it's still a really fun read - definitely doesn't deserve to be the lowest rated arc

Simply put the worst arcs are the first 3 arcs.

Man, do people dislike it? I love everything about it LOL

Buggy was perfect in that arc. Luffy finding out more about Roger and actually showing interest/fascination in the history of pirates, epically facing his death as well. Smoker was a badass and the first character who seemed so unbelievably OP that we had no idea how to beat him. Zoro's gamble on sandai kitetsu is maybe my favorite moment in the entire manga as well

People don’t dislike it they just don’t like it THAT much

On most lists I usually see it around the B tier, it’s in A tier every now and then. At the top of the list though? That’s new lol

It’s a great arc but I never saw it as one of the best myself. Down to personal preference ig

I want to re-read the series before properly making a list like this, since the last time I read Alabasta and Skypiea was back in 2012.

However, I have the exact same SS picks as you, except Sabaody is my #1 and Marineford my #2. Those two are the ones I've re-read the most.
