On a serious note, I don't know if you guys noticed but the only 2 people taking Luffy seriously during this raid are the 2 strongest in Onigashima, Kaido and Big Mom.
Kaido specifically said he will wait for Luffy on the roof despite going there with the scabbard.
Also Big Mom went on the roof also to face Luffy. And she is not taking him lightly since she recharged Zeus and Prometheus to their max level.
It's been subtle but I think they slowly starting to respect him.
Out of all the people in this raid, he is the One they Both want to defeat. He is worthy
