The action and art, yes. The tension and hype, no. For me, at least. I mean, things like Ace turning out be Roger's son, his death, Luffy's, Shanks' and Blackbeard's entry, WB in action and his death, Luffy facing the 3 admirals even when we know he isn't ready to face them, etc made it special for me. Maybe it's bias, maybe not, but MF is special for me. Onigashima may or may not surpass it for me by the time it ends. Still me 2nd fav tho.

Black Maria saying that about Robin makes me wonder how her character is going to play out beyond the poneglyphs. Not to be ignorant of everything she has been through in the new world, but I for some reason still feel a lacking sense of struggle, passion, and determination from her that I haven’t really seen from her since the time skip.
