Yeah I wasn't wrong. Luffy really says that he is superior to Kidd and the other because he said that it looks like hell. And another comment saying that it's weird Luffy saying that he's superior to them.

TBH it felt weird reading Luffy saying directly that and it's good that i'm not the only one noticing this.

Yeah people were overblowing his design. It's simply supposed to be like Lucci but with human Kaido/Dragon form features, allowing him to use weapons from both forms.
