First of all, I'm pretty sure they can all see where they are on the roof. Secondly, it's all the editor's comments (mistranslated on scans). It specifically says she's falling on the sea.

Besides she's fallen on the sea before. She'll survive. Just won't come back anytime soon.

The comparison lacks in observation.
When the 3 Admirals blocked WB they where casually standing there with there arms up, no struggle the even don't breaks a sweat.

On the other hand Zoro was struggling to block the attack and was hurt badly, nevertheless everyone knows Odas writing style and his character purpose for Zoro knows: Zoro character ist about surpassing his limit and and don't hold back in the eye of death.

Zoro blocking this insane attack is 100 % consistent when you look how his character is developed since the start of One Piece.
